Will The Cowboys actually give Micah Parsons a record-breaking contract or if a trade could become a possibility. It still seems far-fetched now..

Probably right but that offer of DK and Gino for Crosby does make me wonder if SEA wouldn’t possibly reach out especially with their defensive minded coach. Hmmm…There is 0 chance they trade Parsons
And if they did, it would be the dumbest thing they have done probably since trading for Roy Williams
They can reach out all they want. You dont trade MVP caliber talentProbably right but that offer of DK and Gino for Crosby does make me wonder if SEA wouldn’t possibly reach out especially with their defensive minded coach. Hmmm…
I’m in agreement but you don’t win with signing everyone at the top of the market either. Does make you wonder what the offer would be with Parsons being a younger better player that Crosby. They can reach out all they want. You dont trade MVP caliber talent
Im just saying the arent going to consider it. Not just because it a bad idea, but also because the Cowboys brand is built around people like Parsons. They arent going to let highly marketable players goI’m in agreement but you don’t win with signing everyone at the top of the market either. Does make you wonder what the offer would be with Parsons being a younger better player that Crosby.
First of all, very unlikely he will be MVPThey can reach out all they want. You dont trade MVP caliber talent
You are closer to a SB with him than without him. He is our defenseFirst of all, very unlikely he will be MVP
Second, the objective is not an MVP caliber playet, it is to win a SB. If we pay him 40 million we are not going to a SB
It would be the best thing since the Hershel Walker trade. There is 0 chance they trade Parsons
And if they did, it would be the dumbest thing they have done probably since trading for Roy Williams
I didn't say he will win and MVP. I said he was an MVP talent.First of all, very unlikely he will be MVP

It would more likely end like the Khalil Mack trade, where we wind up with a running back, a strong safety and no playoffsIt would be the best thing since the Hershel Walker trade.
With or without him it's going to be no playoffs..It would more likely end like the Khalil Mack trade, where we wind up with a running back, a strong safety and no playoffs
Then how would it be "the best thing since the Hershel Walker trade" ?With or without him it's going to be no playoffs..
I didn't say he will win and MVP. I said he was an MVP talent.
The slice of cap he gets will probably be the same Chris Jones had when the Chiefs won their Super Bowls. This "you cant win a SB paying someone that much" is just groupthink
Gotta wake up and not think in abstractsI didn't say he will win and MVP. I said he was an MVP talent.

You have to sign your young superstars. Period!!I’m in agreement but you don’t win with signing everyone at the top of the market either. Does make you wonder what the offer would be with Parsons being a younger better player that Crosby.
You trade him for two 1st round picks, maybe more. Take the 40M to sign 2 or 3 good starting Free Agents (could probably get Sweat and Williams for 40)... This team is nowhere near contending for a deep playoff run..So you end up with Sweat and Williams PLUS two 1st rounders...Then how would it be "the best thing since the Hershel Walker trade" ?
