I could see thatHe grabs and holds on just about every play. He is a penalty waiting to happen. They might cut him.

Top ST player in terms of snaps played percentage in 2022...I don’t see them cutting him being a 2nd round pick.
You let him play this year then attempt to trade him / play out his contract
Did someone say that or just speculating? He grabs and holds on just about every play. He is a penalty waiting to happen. They might cut him.
People are seeing one on one work, which is completely different than the game of football.I'm trying, but it seems there are more who want to hold his past against him than acknowledge the present.
Last week, I wrote that I didn't think he was having a good camp because I saw quite a bit of footage of him getting beat. And that may bear out in the preseason games, but it did not Saturday. Of course, there were only a few passes thrown his way in the game.
I do think it is important to note that in the game he was playing the slot. In the 1-on-1 matchups, etc., in camp, you are not always getting the benefit of team defense. He may be better in the slot, where you face a lot of underneath stuff, than he is on the outside, where he has trouble handling double moves and go routes.
Is he good at that game?People are seeing one on one work, which is completely different than the game of football.
I, too, noticed Joseph's clingy ways. He's a liabilityI don’t see them cutting him being a 2nd round pick.

It comes from watching him play and watching him in practice.I’m not sure where this is coming from?
Joseph actually had a very good preseason game last week.
Why isn’t anyone talking about that?
Some are thinking it like me.Did someone say that or just speculating?
Even when he’s covering well he still isn’t confident enough to turn his head when the balls in the air…..he’s big on physical attributes but weak in technique. Looks like he’s just trying to survive out there at timesI, too, noticed Joseph's clingy ways. He's a liability
Those who want to keep him follow Jerald's playbook well: Keep hoping the player develops, give him another chance, he's got potential, blah, blah.
If you want to keep a marginal player, Joseph it is. But in the long run, he'll cost us both in penalties and eating up a roster spot.
The only light that came on was the light in the recording studio. I remain a skeptic. If the Cowboys determine that the light has come on for him as he claims, he probably sticks.
This is year 3 for him so it's likely a make or break season though.
