What a bonehead. This is tragic because the guy actually does have some valuable skills. He's no Walter Payton or Emmitt Smith, but he's a good enough runner to be a change of pace guy. He played that role well for Murray. He's even good enough to be in that gray area where you're thinking he could start. That's where fans were thinking he was in the offseason. I've seen him take nothing runs and turn them into something. Again, not elite skill, but enough skill to help a team win as a role player. However, all that is negated by his sheer stupidity and immaturity. If you had a stand-up guy with a great attitude and head on his shoulders with Randle's abilities, you would have a team guy that's worth keeping around. It's tragic that this guy is throwing his NFL career away. I'm getting flashbacks of Quincy Carter. Carter was no Roger Staubach, but I have no doubt he could have at the very least been a quality journeyman backup in this league if he had had a good head on his shoulders.

What I was speaking to is when someone is accused/indicted with a crime, the american standard is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. instead when someone applies that ethic the mob labels them as complicit. You don't even deny it. You basically say that there is enough to judge by. I disagree that is the case but it is besides the point. I will say that the surety that people claim is irresponsible if they actually had power or authority. You are operating from a position of ignorance and can only get information second hand.

I definitely agree that moral relativism is pointless but that is because morality is absolutely subjective and aggrandizing yourself that way is tantamount to masturbation. That still doesn't mean that it isn't a common occurrence. Further the two notions are not mutually exclusive. You can both judge based on the facts available AND use that as the basis for the zero sum morality nonsense. Actually one follows the other.

Condemn so as to aggrandize yourself.
