No one wants Joseph Randle.

Randle, the talented but troubled running back who was waived by the Cowboys, passed through waivers unclaimed. That means 31 other teams had the chance to add him, and all 31 passed.

That’s not a big surprise, as Randle abruptly left the Cowboys last week and is reportedly facing an NFL suspension as a result of a February incident in which he was accused of domestic violence. Randle’s off-field issues are more than any team wants to take on right now.

Eventually, Randle may be able to get things sorted out and get back on the field. He started six games for the Cowboys this season and had 76 carries for 315 yards and four touchdowns. He’s a pretty good player, and some team needing a running back may sign him as a free agent.

Randle is only 23 years old and still has time to turn his career around. But it may be a while before he gets that opportunity.

If he isn't crazy he's a great COP back. Someone might give him a shot if he clears up his issues.

Sorry that the potential of a young player finally getting roots doesn't touch on a sportsmanship thread in football for you.

Randle is an idiot and every one of the other 31 teams in the league know that if the Cowboys, that would be the lost 5 in a row Cowboys, let this clown go there is really good reason for it.

Wish the young man nothing but the best, hopefully he can straighten out his life first. Everyone makes mistakes in life and it's so easy to criticize someone when you really don't know the person or what he is battling with.

This is what it boils down to. I guarantee if he had no off the field issues he would have been claimed. He's good enough to be somebody's RB2/3. His head isn't good enough to be that. Anyone who claims otherwise is letting a personal bias affect their judgment.

My prediction is the Chicago Bears sign him. Not this season, but Matt Forte will leave in free agency and they'll experiment with Joseph Randle.

I think that at this point most teams are set at RB.
And you dont know what FO is saying about him, and if he has mental issues.

Probably because the rest of the league knows that Jerry's loyal to a fault and going from a starting player to ex-player in just a couple of weeks is no simple task for a player in Dallas.
