*Edit- to be clear, there were folks who didn't have faith in Murray and didn't want us to pay him big money to re-sign. What I was referring to was the part about Randle. Nobody on here ever said Randle was "the future". That's absurd.

They came out of the woodwork to rail on him for wanting to be paid. They said he would never be like he was because he was injury prone and so many before him that reeled off premium yardage didn't do it again. List of yardage before and after of quite a few running backs that were not able to put up those numbers were in many threads.

There is a guy here who has a signature of a picture where Murray is running through a giant hole made by the line. The implication is anyone could do that behind this wall. And quite a few touted Randall as the home run hitter and the future.

Wrong. That is exactly what was said. Urray will never be anything after his 1800 yard season and Randall is the future. He won't leave meat on the bone. You can even check some of the signatures about Murray that still are around.

You'll have to show me. There were folks who thought Murray was run into the ground (understandable even if I didn't agree) there were folks who just didn't believe you pay an rb a premium salary in general or specifically behind this line, and there were a handful of folks who thought randle was capable of doing enough to keep the offense humming. You'll need to show me who said Murray was nothing and Randle was the future. Apparently you know who / where, so...

When I was in Vietnam we had a word for someone who couldn't get the job done. He could be incompetent, or lazy, or incapable. That was a dud.

When people here stated he was used up, that would be the same definition of dud to me. Why I have to explain this to anyone is beyond me. Other than this is the off season.

As far as people stating Randall was the future, you are wrong. The mere comment he won't leave meat on the bone like Murray surely encompasses that thinking.

I'm done now. You kids can find someone else to bother.
