Josh Brent signed 1-yr extension/D-Law activated/Edwards waived

Two pieces of good news, I'll take it. Anything Demarcus Lawrence adds to the defense is fine, if the hype has any basis in truth, it could be great, like Jay Ratliff with a sack on his first play!

Great news
Even if he can just create some pressure and get attention to free up another DL to get sacks, that's fine.
I don't think he gets that kind of attention at first. Until he starts showing what he may be able to do. And what we all hope he can do.

It will take time for him to adjust, game speed and all that.

Not expecting great things right out of the gate but am excited to finally see D-Law on the field.

I am excited to get these guys on the field. Let's hope it adds to the team and doesn't hurt the chemistry that the D has this year

I'm looking forward to seeing Crawford, Melton and Lawrence on the dline at the same time.

sorry if this has already been answered, but Brent can't actually PLAY until week 10, or something along those lines, correct?

Well, the Cowboys... undoubtedly one of the better teams in the NFL this season, just added a lot more talent to their defensive line.

I don't know what kind of a difference it might make, but they certainly got a lot better on the DL in just a couple of weeks (Lawrence now and Brent after the bye).

You gotta love that.

Agree on all points, after all this will be his first regular season NFL action
