It means that when they see Brent in the game, they know we are playing the run--so why not just pass?

Why would they know that? Didn't we just establish that Nick Hayden is not a pass rusher?

Not sure what Nick Hayden has to do with anything. We come out before the game and announce we are playing Brent on "running downs." Are we playing him to rush the passer on running downs?

What's it going to be then, eh?

Because the dissatisfaction with Nick Hayden is exactly why people are ascribing talent and traits to Josh Brent that simply have never shown up consistently during his career.

The team didn't announce that, it was a comment by Ed Werder.

They will play 2 of Crawford, McClain and Melton at DT on obvious passing downs. Brent or Hayden will likely play when it's not an obvious passing situation. It's unlikely that they will distinguish between when they play Hayden or Brent.

Brent is getting his feet wet to prep him more for the philly contest, although, it will be tough to get him in the game since they do hurry up a lot

The bar is suing Brent because the parents are suing the bar. They want to try and recoup any money that they may have to pay out if they lose against the parents.

And the idea that any establishment should be held accountable for a person's own actions is ridiculous. I can see if Brent or Brown were falling down drunk and they still continued to serve them, but that wasn't the case.

This country is way to full of people wanting to point the finger at everyone except those responsible. Brent drove drunk. That was his choice. It was his choice to order drinks. What's next? Someone suing McDonalds because they are obese?

I think that they are suing the bar because most servers are supposed to know when a person has had enough, and have the ability to drive a car

He has to be able to last a long series. 12 plays. I imagine that is what they were getting at with condition.

I don't think people credit how strong Brent was. He is 26 years old.

And but most of all Brent in means Hayden out and outside of McClain's failed tryout a several weeks ago no one has been able to take snaps from him.

Is there a spot more in need of an upgrade? Carr as a cover 3 corner is right up there but that is about it. Church, Wilcox, Carter, Moore, etc make plays. Selvie has been disappointing but I have seen him shed blocks and get push more often than Hayden.

Hayden sucks and I put him with other symbolic starters for the Cowboys like Corey Proctor, Lynn Scott, Keith Smith and Duane Hawthorne. Phil Costa I imagine resonates with many others along these lines.

The bar lost it's license for overserving Brent. Anyone can file but I don't see this having legs. It should be noted that it is likely a liability insurance firm that is driving this.

Hayden has gotten a lot of nickel snaps. I hope youre right but that rotation is not what we have seen at all up until now. When I see Spillman/Patmon AND Hayden it makes me very upset.

I'm not happy anytime Hayden is on the field.

I'm still not certain why Spillman was on the field last week.

He split a double team and gave Cutler no room to step into his throws when he was in the game. He controlled the los outside of the second play when the were trying to pull the chair on him.

Sorry that we won. I know you hate that.
