This is a really bad look for the NYG, Mara, the coaches, the NFL and Brown

They had a chance to dump him and they brought him back after that pathetic 1 game suspension

Hardy had one night with a completely unreliable witness and Brown had 20 incidents...Hardy 10 games.......Brown 1.......I hate the race card but I think it is in play here

The reports are saying that this is evidence that has just come out as of yesterday. The NFL and the Giants are reinvestigating this issue. Brown will I am sure be suspended many games and probably cut by the Giants from what I am hearing. I wouldn't be surprised if a ban is imposed. He is getting a second punishment for this and probably what should have happened the first time. I want this guy off the Giants ASAP!

I do not know how he got away with violating a protective order and the media never found out. He should have gotten at least 1 game just for that.

that is so overplayed.....Cowboys fans gotta stop saying it

I normally agree, but I do think he was suspended 1 game because they felt they could get away with it due to the circumstances. If he played for a number of other teams, he would have been suspended much longer, maybe not the full 10 games that he preached, but more than 1 game.

I am just saying we said the same thing about Kraft and he had multiple draft picks taken and his QB lost 4 games

The NFL should not be doing detective work because it will lead to cases like this and Hardy's....... without subpoena and perjury power you won't get any truth......they copped out the first time with Brown and now they will drop the hammer........no consistency

Elliott could have very easily been caught is some bs if he didn't protect himself and had some witnesses

This has been a story all offseason. When SHE said he did all those things, the NFL and the Giants poo-pooed it. Now it's coming out that he admitted to it. NOW I guess it's okay to be outraged. *rollseyes*

And what he admitted to was worse than anything Greg Hardy was accused of and I'm no defender of him, either.

Yes but the Maras,Krafts and Rooneys are well respected by the league . They are the patriarchs and only crap teams like the Cowboys, Bengles, etc tolerate criminal players

The NFL, Giants, Patriots, and Steelers can kiss my black ***.

It seems the NFL did everything they could initially.
I refuse to believe the vaunted NFL security who proclaims to have former law enforcement officers on staff can't get a wink, wink heads up as to the depth of the allegations. AND the NFL helped her change hotels after an incident at the pro bowl. The NFL. So they were aware. They didn't care.

It was already quoted here, here it is

The NFL conducted a 10-month investigation, but noted that the absence of criminal charges and cooperation by the alleged victim and law-enforcement officials in finding "insufficient information to corroborate prior allegations.

Maybe it's untrue, but I doubt the NFL is protecting a kicker. But from the information we have, the NFL did their investigation and didn't get the cooperation they needed. I'm critical of the NFL in the past and how they've handled suspensions, but here, I'm not seeing what they did wrong.

Be a man, Mara. Kick him to the curb and try to get his bonus money back.
