He's getting $15 mill per a 5 year contract. Cutting Carr wouldn't be enough to cover that. Considering we still have to use cap space for our draft picks too.

If they only have 3 years guaranteed though it's not that bad a deal.

Be a very expensive 3 years. I seen 50 mil guaranteed. That alone would be over 16 mil a year plus his salary for 3 yrs

Agreed. Complaining about Carr is silly. It's essentially sunk cost to some extent.

Cutting Culliver frees up 5.5 mil of this year's cap and 50% of this year's cap hit for Norman can be carried over to next year. So in essence, Norman will only count 1.5 mil into this year's cap. The Skins GM is a crafty cat. I haven't seen anything official about 50 mill in guaranteed money. If so, it's still half of what Haynesworth got.
