Norman is asking a lot, but the way I see it, is would he be as good here with marinelli's scheme ?????
He might not be any better than carr.
In Carolina he has a different DC (probably better one),and he has a better group of defensive players
to play with.
Put him here with our guys and our coaches, and I doubt he will be as good as he was in Carolina.
It isnt just the player, it is the coaching and scheme, play calling, and supporting cast of players.
So unless we would hire their DC too, I doubt you would get your moneys worth with norman.
Carr was a star with another coach and group of guys, but came here and not as good,
and it isnt all his fault.
Marinelli is part of the problem with our defense, he is good in some ways and bad in others,
and he does not do certain things well. like blitz , and late game zone is awful.
He is trying to remake something that was good when he had star players, and it wont work
unless you have a all star defensive group,
And any DC can do good with that lol.
