Lewis has off the charts quickness, I'll tell you that. His change of direction is really good in pads.

Dude is a legit corner. He's so natural at it.

Unfortunately, he won't be able to play this year because Mara will tell Gooddell to suspend him due to the DV allegations. Gooddell will tell Mara that his qb is off the hook for the memorabilia incident after a lengthy investigation has been conducted by the league office of all about 2 mins.

On which player? Either way I'd point to the stats. Lewis had 2 ints last year and 3 the year before, modest totals, but nothing to rave about. He does have a ridiculous amount of passes defended, which is why I did not knock his ball skills.

Awuzie has 1 nit in his career, so that one is self explanatory
fair enough

I usually don't care about these sorts of vids, but that was impressive.

It feels like I saw more interceptions in that two minute video than Scandrick has had his entire career.

no reason he should be pigeonholed as a slot CB,Awuzie is better suited for the slot and Lewis can play outside with Brown.
Yup. Agree 100 percent on Lewis. That's a versatile corner. Don't want to hear about only slot.

I reviewed Anthony Browns college highlights.. he looks a lot like Awuzie..not to sound like a homer, but I really do like the "aggressive" CB approach they've taken. And I'm not making any predictions for Lewis, but he does looks like a 'real' player.. people want to point out he only had a few interceptions, but the stat that really opened my eyes was.. he only allowed 8 receptions last year. Thats playing like a Boss!

"Not much of a case needs to be made for why Lewis is one of the best defensive players in all of college football. Simply put, he was the highest-graded corner in college football last season. He was targeted a ridiculously high 90 times and allowed just 33 passes for 416 yards and a touchdown, and produced two interceptions and a whopping 15 passes defensed. That was the highest number of passes defensed in the country."--two years ago

The folks that are mad that we didn't pick a 1st round CB when we grab a Taco.. need to understand we grab a 1st rd'er in the 3rd... I know some think Woods was a steal, which i guess they're not wrong either, but Lewis will eventually become the biggest steal of our draft.
