Freaking amazing!

he's had his best year, and I gotta tell you about 3 years ago I thought he and Anthony brown were both expendable both casualties they both made too much money for what they brought to this team, but this year and I know he's played well in other years but this year from end to end missing bland and diggs for long periods he's been our best defensive player in a way ,

because he's not only covering guys he's coming up and tackling running backs he's rushing the passer he's creating having for the field but his energy his toughness his attitude seemed like he plays with a chip on his shoulder I love the guy now Can you imagine if we had diggs and bland and him on the field for an entire season together with the depth we found this year in Butler and AO and others we can develop like Carson, it's like we don't even need to look for A DB in the draft, if these guys can just stay healthy they would be one of the best back ends that we have in football...

The problem is trying to get these guys on the field all at the same time...

The way he played this season he might have priced himself out of Jerry's budget.
can we not say that about every player that's having a good season/? the one thing jerry is always done is the players hes drafted m, the ones that become fan favorites like real stars ie reach super star levels, hes signed them ALL..

Facts
these issues might be free agency and a lack of aggressive trades but signing his own has never been an issue..facts

Yes it will be tough to sign Bland, Jlew, Parsons, and Osa all in any off season for any GM, there is real Cap a hard cap and now you have some young guys lie Hoff and bass stepping up, when does Tyler Smith come due, its s tough being a gm. , not Jerrys budget, all teams can Not keep everyone. Its why you see players move more than ever.

KC loses more players than anyone yet keep on track yearly..Nope they dont spend heavily in FA but they do Draft well and find UDFas and other top fill holes.. its hard balance for most Gms so we will see..

No, he's not. He's a good player but your hate of Diggs is showing. Diggs was coming off a torn ACL. Usually takes a couple of years for your play to return to form (if it does).
In terms of reliability, I think Lewis is far more dependable than Diggs and I’m not even considering the injuries.

Look at his 2021 season with 11 picks. Didn’t he also lead the league in passing yards allowed by CB’s, and I believe he also was the leader amongst CB’s with penalties?

He’s a feast or famine guy and if he’s not getting you the ball, while not doing a lot in run support, how dependable is he really?

Diggs made a name off 1 season and fans are still falling for it.

He’s never had more than 3 INTs in any other season.

And yes, he led the NFL in yards allowed and if avoidance of tackles was a stat he’d led that too.

he might be my favorite player on the team honestly. i've loved him since he was drafted, and he's just continued to win me over. he's tenacious, sticky, tackles, does whatevers asked of him. he's the biggest s-talker on the team, on the field and on social media and i love it. when he was the whipping boy on the team for whatever reason, he never buckled, and then his recovery from his dark injury times and boy.... it's just hard not to love him.

Our fans can't stand any player who gets paid a lot. If Lewis was making Diggs' money, fans would be saying that it was about time he made a play.

If you don't think Diggs deserves criticism for the way he has played since he signed his deal then I doubt you have ever been critical of any player in team history. People are not making this stuff up. No one criticizing him has an agenda. We are simply providing an open and honest evaluation.

Diggs has been hurt since he signed his deal. I don't blame a player for tearing an ACL, and I don't expect them to be fully recovered in the first season back from that.

I don't think fans are "providing an open and honest evaluation." I think they have been mad at him since he missed a tackle against Kittle in the San Fran playoff game where he was trying to put a hit on the ball and Kittle made a move and made him miss. And ever since then, they get mad ever time he misses a tackle or for his effort, or lack thereof, on some tackles (even though he's also come up and made big hits at times).

Diggs signed his contract in July 2023 and tore his ACL that August. He didn't play all of last year, and this year he played coming off of that and has tried to play through more injuries. So how he has played since he signed his deal is not very much, and QBs still mostly avoided him when he played this year, choosing to throw against rookies and cheap free agents on the other side.

I hate that he hasn't been healthy and that he and Bland didn't really get a chance to play together this year, but that's bad fortune, not a bad player.

As a former DB, I can't tell you how hard that is to do

A little luck, but good on him not losing his bearings downfield. And a hell of an effort.

Diggs is feast or famine and he wasn’t a shut down corner prior to injury
There were games where he would just lock up his guy. His battles against McLaurin come to mind, and to a lesser extent Jefferson.

But he rolled the dice a lot.

I just don't know if that's what he was being instructed to do.

(For the record, I did not want to pay him and am not super pro Diggs)
