Video: Jourdan Lewis Interception

Diggs has been hurt since he signed his deal. I don't blame a player for tearing an ACL, and I don't expect them to be fully recovered in the first season back from that.

I don't think fans are "providing an open and honest evaluation." I think they have been mad at him since he missed a tackle against Kittle in the San Fran playoff game where he was trying to put a hit on the ball and Kittle made a move and made him miss. And ever since then, they get mad ever time he misses a tackle or for his effort, or lack thereof, on some tackles (even though he's also come up and made big hits at times).

Diggs signed his contract in July 2023 and tore his ACL that August. He didn't play all of last year, and this year he played coming off of that and has tried to play through more injuries. So how he has played since he signed his deal is not very much, and QBs still mostly avoided him when he played this year, choosing to throw against rookies and cheap free agents on the other side.

I hate that he hasn't been healthy and that he and Bland didn't really get a chance to play together this year, but that's bad fortune, not a bad player.
100!:hammer:

He’s never gotten more than 3 INTs any other season.

He gives up a ton of yards and avoids contact like the plague.

Lewis is better, more reliable, and would’ve been much cheaper.

Lewis is a nickel which is not a put down . In the NFL you need multiple CB’s . The reason Diggs didn’t come close to 11 again is OC stopped throwing in his neighborhood . Then Bland had 5 pick sixes once Diggs was avoided .

Take note, anyone trying to become a Scout for a living...

Joudan Lewis is the perfect example of an undersized GAMER.

We had a Defensive Coordinator a couple of years ago wanting to run Lewis out of town STRICTLY DUE TO HIS HEIGHT.

All these Pro Sports Clubs get irrational when someone has size, a lot of times opting for the player with MEASUREMENTS over game tape.

The NBA is snake-bit with drafting projects based on measurements instead of drafting players with solid fundamentals and solid film.

Dont get blinded by measurements, go by tape...every time.

And, no, Im not a scout...just pointing out one of the bigger issues when discussing prospects.

So diggs gets a pass next year too. And 2026 as well. Gotcha

2023. The year Bland got those pick 6s.

Diggs played in two games that year.

If he's unable to play? What do you expect him to do, come back from surgery early and force them to play him?

Some of you act like these players choose to get injured and have major surgeries done on their body, so they can make lots of money to do nothing. Diggs tried to return, wasn't playing poorly considering he was coming off a major injury then got hurt trying to return and had to have major surgery.

You think the fact that he missed last season because he tore an ACL is giving him a pass? You think he's being given a pass if he's unable to play next year because of another major surgery? If so, your view of this player is colored by some kind of bias against him.

If you want to say he could tackle better. That's deserved. But attacking a player for getting injured is just low.

Reports said he wasn't working hard to get better. For a soft player that story is accurate so he gets no excuse. He's a bum who wanted a quick payday. Can't win with players like him or his brother

Whatever.

This is Micah Parsons' response to that claim by Clarence Hill: "Bull (expletive) !! I'll drop facts one day! Just not today!! But this bull(expletive) and a bad narrative they've tried to put on my brothers name!"

Of course, fans like you who are all caught up in Diggs being "soft" are going to buy the bad that's being said about him.

I see no sense in arguing with you about it. Just like with other players on this team, fans get a mad on for a player and can only see red. I've got better things to do with my time.

This board has spent years under appreciating Jlew. Hope some of yall now realize what a dawg we have in this guy. These type of glue players make a team.

Lewis is the leader of this defense.

You need a guy who is a vet but not a star being the glue.

If we retain any of the defensive staff, I expect that Lewis is someone that they will want back.

Imagine having a team full of glue guys. That would be fun to watch.

To be fair, he really took off last season.

He wasn’t this good until recently.

Lewis suffered the same type of serous foot injury knocked DLaw out this year . I’ve always appreciated what Lewis brought to this team the tough gritty mentality . I remember a 13-10 win against the Saints when he closed out the game with an interception of Drew Brees.

Hes been a pretty solid cb for awhile. I think its difficult playing the slot as well, but I've never felt we were in trouble with Jlew back there.
