Jourdan Lewis is done with a decade of frustration.

Plenty of Cowboys have left the team and played in the Super Bowl. Demarcus Ware is a notable one.

You think that would change anything? We could win 0 games and nothing would change. The stadium could be empty. Nothing will change. They could sell $0 in merch. Nothing would change. The only thing that's going to take Jerry out of the driver's seat is a physical inability to remain there...so pretty much dying.
Even with the inevitable mortem regis, the royal succession plan will keep things rotten in Denmark.

The negative exit theme is becoming quite common. Maybe somebody will write the tell-all book about what’s been going on behind closed doors.

There’s more happening than we are privy to, that’s for sure.

Doesn’t mean he wasn’t frustrated; doesn’t mean he didn’t want to make it work here. I place zero fault on any player who chooses to go somewhere else for a bigger paycheck.
But let’s call it what it is. They went for more money not because they want to win.

I keep waiting and haven’t heard anything. They all eventually come back in some form or fashion.

The combo of Garrett AND Dak was a double-whammy.

Where they screwed up with Dak was asking him to win football games with his arm.

He needs a Jared Goff situation or a 2016 Cowboys situation at all times.

The reality is he isn’t a big game player and padding stats against teams Cooper Rush can beat shouldn’t get you elite pay days that hurt our team.

Say that then, someone offered you more, don't need the parting shots, especially from someone that would have chosen to stay if the offer was even.

I've been a diehard fan since 1962. If we think the last 30 years have been tough on us, can you imagine how a competitive player feels? Sure they get paid, but the disappointment of being held back by an incompetent FO must be overwhelming.

You sure showed them by joining the Jags.

If Jerry would've offered what you wanted you'd be here right now just like the other losers on this team.

sour grapes that cowboys didn't overpay - that's all this is - screw him
 bunch of entitled dudes. Always thought he was a leader, above this keyboard warrior crap. Now we know, all doubt has been removed. Thank you JLew for clearing it all up.

Yet he joins the Jaguars. lol. At least he is getting paid
Agreed…good for JLewis! Life is just a bit easier and a little brighter when you’re making $30 million and off the hamster wheel that is the Dallas Cowboys.

Leaders of men in and off the field, in life, or what have you, do not behave in this manner. Actions speak for themselves.

We don’t know that. I believe it’s possible that they have doubted they could win playoff games in Dallas for years.

Plus if you were frustrated with the circus environment in Big D, going somewhere else like Jacksonville would at least be a different address where winning is more the focus than making money.

The jags made an AFC championship game Lewis’ rookie year in 2017. They have won more playoff games than us since our last SB. They haven’t won as many regular season games but they have won more playoff games.
