The jags have won more playoff games than we have since our last SB. They have been to an AFc championship in 2017. Think about that.Sad that they consider these sub-par teams a better football environment than Dallas.
Even with the inevitable mortem regis, the royal succession plan will keep things rotten in Denmark. You think that would change anything? We could win 0 games and nothing would change. The stadium could be empty. Nothing will change. They could sell $0 in merch. Nothing would change. The only thing that's going to take Jerry out of the driver's seat is a physical inability to remain there...so pretty much dying.
But let’s call it what it is. They went for more money not because they want to win.Doesn’t mean he wasn’t frustrated; doesn’t mean he didn’t want to make it work here. I place zero fault on any player who chooses to go somewhere else for a bigger paycheck.
I keep waiting and haven’t heard anything. They all eventually come back in some form or fashion. The negative exit theme is becoming quite common. Maybe somebody will write the tell-all book about what’s been going on behind closed doors.
There’s more happening than we are privy to, that’s for sure.
The combo of Garrett AND Dak was a double-whammy.
They wanted to come back and Cowboys didn’t want them.Sad that they consider these sub-par teams a better football environment than Dallas.
ExactlyThey wanted to come back and Cowboys didn’t want them.
Say that then, someone offered you more, don't need the parting shots, especially from someone that would have chosen to stay if the offer was even.Doesn’t mean he wasn’t frustrated; doesn’t mean he didn’t want to make it work here. I place zero fault on any player who chooses to go somewhere else for a bigger paycheck.
I think those 12 win seasons got to him. He thought we were hanging around the rim. Last year he realized we were no longer able to even touch the net.He signed an extension at some point during those 10 years
sour grapes that cowboys didn't overpay - that's all this is - screw him
Agreed…good for JLewis! Life is just a bit easier and a little brighter when you’re making $30 million and off the hamster wheel that is the Dallas Cowboys.Yet he joins the Jaguars. lol. At least he is getting paid
We don’t know that. I believe it’s possible that they have doubted they could win playoff games in Dallas for years. But let’s call it what it is. They went for more money not because they want to win.
