Jourdan Lewis is done with a decade of frustration.

for leaving and saying what we all know to be true. It’s freaking hilarious actually.
cowboys fans: Jerry is the single biggest reason for the downfall. Couldn't build a team if you gave him the first 20 picks in the draft.

Same fans: how dare a player indicate they are frustrated with their experience here.

Sorry to see him go, but I understand. That clip suggests he wanted to be paid more than a team friendly contract.

Anyone know if he likes London?

My head is not in the sand. But believe what you will. Of course players will say that.
Sour grapes. But you love it as you hate every thong anyways. Talk about head in the sand.
I can't say I hate every thong. Honestly it depends upon who's wearing it.

That being said, what other teams' FA are saying similar things when signing with a new team? Not saying it hasn't happened, but I haven't seen it other than ex-Cowboys in a bit.

I mean "decade of frustration" and "not gonna win a super bowl there" seem a little more than what most outgoing players feel the need to say.

This didn't age well soon as he left the building. He has sour grapes. Sounds like a me guy. I'm disappointed in him. I liked him alot as a team leader.
No, didn't age well. It's money related IMO. His frustration may have been more about his contract overall. He alluded to not settling for anymore team friendly deals in what appeared to be a Jags related interview. Stephen Jones sang his praises, but they always gave him short deals, etc. That position I can understand. I like Lewis quite a bit as well, and wanted to retain him.
Lawrence wasn't even offered a contract, and seemed to be a growing malcontent well before he left. I would have rather have kept Golston personally.
Myles Garrett wanted to be traded to a 'contender' before being presented a record setting deal.

Sour grapes about wasting their careers in a place where the FO puts facility tours and marketing over winning football games?

Can’t imagine why.

I used to be one of the biggest homers on this site. Green Bay ended that.

So it was GB, why not SF?!

When Cowboys fans laugh at Jacksonville, they seem to forget the Jags made the AFC championship game in 2017 and have 8 playoff wins since our last SB win. We have 5 over the same period.
And he will never ever be heard from or seen again playing in Jville. I give him props for getting the cash though.

Maybe the frustration has been with his contracts with us, only thing that makes sense to take a bag to play for a worse team.

It's so bad even the players can't hide their frustrations anymore. The only reason to stay with the cowboys is to get as much money as possible. Any player taking pay cuts to stay here is out of their mind. For what? So the Jones boys can pocket more money while they don't spend in free agency? It's clear that the goal isn't to win.

It's clear the FO has no idea what they are doing . If they did, Quinn wouldn't be in Washington.

When every single player that leaves has something negative to say you need to look in the mirror. If you don’t think the Jones Boyz are 100% the root of our problems you are just, well I don’t want to say it. At some point in time you would hope they look in the mirror and realize they are the ones keeping themselves from winning anything. But they double down and tell us they are the best people for the job. 30 years of disappointment and embarrassment and late season collapses. They have no vision, no plan, no idea about who the good players are in the league and how badly they overrate their own and underrate everyone else.

They deserve the results they get and so does every sucker who thinks this team has a chance to turn things around and yes I guess that has included me a bunch of times.

What a whiner. Most of us here have had three decades of frustration watching our franchise be run into the ground by big and little Enos
I don’t get it. He had a chance to make more money and play for a team that went to rhe NFCCG.

Why are you and 18 others mad about that?

Is he supposed to take less just because we’re the Cowboys?

I’m guessing that the Ring of Honor won’t be getting too much bigger anytime soon after Zack Martin!
You’re probably right

And how could it? If the last 30 years of talent acquisition is any indication who would you rightfully induct into the ROH?

Don't blame a GM for running a team like a clown. Ask yourself why you keep going to the Circus. Guess Lewis asked himself that:rolleyes: And found the answer.

Yet he joins the Jaguars. lol. At least he is getting paid
Ironic isn’t it? It's usually about the money, but it's funny to me a few months ago both Lewis and Lawrence wanted to return and then when they signed elsewhere they shared a different perspective? What likely happened here is they got way more money outside then were hurt when Dallas had no interest in matching it.
