JPP is the perfect comp for Taco

Kind of sick of this "Taco compares to player X" talk. No offense to the OP, BTW. I understand it because the draft just ended and there's nothing of actual substance to speak of this time of year but I think it sets a standard and a threshold around which people convince themselves that it's safe to start complaining about the kid when/if he isn't Joey Bosa, JPP, Justin Tuck, or Reggie White by week three of the season.

I agree with the comparison. For some reason people think jpp measurables were better than they actually were. Tacos were flat out superior to jpp and he's bigger/longer/played top competition.

Hi Im Gregory Sanders, ethics committee. I just got a little startled from your post when i noticed reggie white and justin tuck in the same sentence. Please dont do this, ive gotta believe its not allowed here at CZ. Im sure it wasnt intentional but unfortunately its my job to be on the safeside. In any case, are you ok? I can see how someone would comp Taco to JPP, but the differences are also comp if they were on the same team. This may allow us to let Lawrence walk after 2017 and get a reasonably high comp pick. Not that I'd be overly comped to do that if the $$ was reasonable.

I know exactly what that is. Seasoned ground beef, with lettuce, tomato, cheese and hot sauce.

His numbers are slightly better in multiple categories than J.P.P.
