? They seem nearly identical to me, and tbh i think the steelers have had a better dline/scheme than weve had.

TJ Watt has had 6 solo tackles, 2 assists, 1.0 sack and 1 fumble recovery in 3 games in the playoffs

Micah Parsons has had 8 solo tackles, 10 assists and 1.0 sack in 4 games in the playoffs

Your facts are interfering with the instinct to not like the players on the team they like.

Watt has more time on Parsons, but he saw some great improvement his 4th and 5th year + in the NFL.
Time will tell for Parsons if he can take it to the next level not only as a pass rusher but as an overall player.

Your position is that the guy who has more of every meaningful stat in 20% fewer games, who has a MUCH bigger impact im the run game and is a much better leader is not as good as the other guy?

Yeah that makes complete sense

I think Watt is a athletic freak combined with amazing football instincts and plays the run better then Parson's. I think Parson's is even more of a freak, but his instincts aren't there and sometimes he doesn't put in maximum effort. Watt always plays with a high motor.

Can only judge them properly when Parsons plays in a scheme that brings the best out of him. Watt has that in Pittsburgh. Parsons doesn't here.

No, WATT doesn't need a system, just put a jersey on this kid and put him in any system!!!

dont see that, parsons is going 100% everytime
However effort isnt the end all be all if he read the play wrong at 100% effort

Where’d I say that? Read again. What I said was GMs would take Parsons.

He’s younger and not injury prone. I also think once it’s all said and done he will be better.

I have no idea where this "TJ Watt is a great run defender" thing comes from. He's fine, but he just sits in a wide 7 or 9 and does one thing against the run. Micah can do it too, lots of players can. The Cowboys had no problem using that to their advantage by easily sealing him and attacking b/c gap, including with a TE.

I don't understand the obsession with making things up to slander Cowboys players?

TJ Watt is a hell of a player. But I also think it's one of those things where the scheme he in is maximizing his potential.

I think Reddick or Parsons could have similar results if put in the same position.

He is. Debating which of he and Micah is the better passrusher is pretty pointless (although the metrics say Micah is).

But there are A LOT of players who can set an edge like this when they have no other responsibilities. They're asking Watt to do the bare minimum in both scheme and run defense - which is what the Cowboys should do lol
