I dont know if its true but I heard a story back when Enrique first became poppular.

He called his father and said, "Dad I have the #1 song"

His father laughed and said, "no you dont" and hung up

:lmao2:

True Story Mick.. Also as old as dad is now he still gets more play than H. Hefner..

I'd take him with our 3rd round pick.

And not look back. Those making comparisons to Crayton are way off the mark. Unless they are saying Crayton went from being Qb. at a small school, to a solid receiver, and J.I. will go from being a good receiver to a very good receiver, I just don't see the comparison. I am a Sooner fan and have seen him in person and the kid made some clutch catches on many occasions regardless of the competition.

I don't know what to think of him. I really liked him a couple of years ago, when I thought he was clearly better than Kelly. But this past year he didn't do as much. And I really didn't like those drops in the NC game.

There isn't a much more accurate description of him than Patrick Crayton and Dallas wont draft him because of that reason.

What you see as an OU homer is a guy who will catch a 3 yard pass and pick up 20 yards in a sucko defensive conference and you become enamored.

You have to look at his overall talent and his overall talent is nothing more than a solid receiver at the next level if he is lucky.

They actually play defense in this league unlike the one he is currently in (the big 12).

Crayton won't prevent Dallas from drafting the guy where he falls in the draft and how he is rated on the board will determine if we draft the guy

I've seen the guy play a lot and he has good hands, seems to get open more than people think he will, and seems to work hard.

I do agree that he isn't worth a second round pick though. Maybe a 3rd or 4th if he there then but nothing prior to that.

I have to disagree. If they thought he was equal to a guy that they already have and is not starting material they certainly could pass on the guy for someone that has higher upside.

Crayton is a poor comparison and would kill to be as good as Inglesias . The only thing they share is the fact that they are both best suited as slot receivers . Boldin is a worse comparison and Inglesias has nothing similar in his game to Boldin . Inglesias will never be mentioned in the same breath with Boldin again past this point . If you need to compare him to a current NFL player , think of Anthony Gonzales . He's a slot receiver who could be more in the right situation . I'd pass on Inglesias , but he'll make somebody a nice player .

Kenny McInley.

Exactly the type of route runner, and hands this team needs.

NOPE! The guy we are taking.......please see below.

Naw, if we're gonna draft anybody from Redneck Tech, I'd "sooner" it be Duke Robinson... :D
You know how bad I've got it for Duke man. He is the player I want most.

right we all understand about how your drooling over duke robinson hostile, i like him too, we need a big mauling offensive young stud on our offensive line,

but on wrs, i disagree

Juaquin Iglesias
WR, Oklahoma JUAQUIN IGLESIAS MEASURABLES
Height: 6-0 Weight: 210
40-yard dash: 4.45 10-yard dash: 1.56
20-yard shuttle: 4.41 60-yard shuttle:
Broad jump: 9-8 225-lb. bench:
3-cone drill: Vertical jump: 34
Wonderlic: 20-yard dash: 2.62
War Room analysis
Strengths: Is smart. Reads defenses well and knows how to get open. Runs sharp routes to gain separation from man-to-man coverage and finds open spots in zone coverage. Shows excellent hands to pluck the ball away from his body. Makes tough catches in key situations. Shows burst out of cuts to shake defenders on short routes. Runs hard after the catch and gains yards after contact. Is fearless; does not flinch on inside slants, maintaining focus and holding on to ball while absorbing hard hits.

Weaknesses: Lacks explosiveness and elite speed, which will hurt his ability to separate from NFL defenders and stretch the field deep. Lacks strength to break tackles. Must prove he has quickness and strength to defeat jams and gain release against NFL press coverage.

Bottom line: Iglesias was a productive receiver for the Sooners, but his subpar top speed will make it tough for him to maintain that level of productivity in the NFL. He is unlikely to be drafted high because he will not impress anyone with his 40-yard dash time in postseason workouts and never be the type of receiver who beats defenders deep. But Iglesias has the intangibles and outstanding hands to make it as a possession receiver.

I would rather have this player; Johnny Knox

Overall grade: 5.9
Position rank: 14

JOHNNY KNOX MEASURABLES
Height: 5-11 Weight: 185
40-yard dash: 4.30 10-yard dash: 1.47
20-yard shuttle: 4.15 60-yard shuttle:
Broad jump: 10-2 225-lb. bench:
3-cone drill: 6.82 Vertical jump: 35
Wonderlic: 20-yard dash: 2.53

KEY » *
Johnny Knox
WR, Abilene Christian
War Room analysis
Strengths: Shows explosive speed and quickness. Creates separation with speed. Is a smart route runner. Shows different speed on deep balls. Tracks balls well in the air and shows good hands to pluck them. Shows flexible knees and hips; adjusts his body to catch off-target throws and makes shoestring catches. Works hard and leads by example. Takes pride in his blocking and makes blocks downfield to free ball carriers. Has experience as a return man.

Weaknesses: Must improve upper- and lower-body strength. Gets held up at the line by more physical cornerbacks. Must improve at dropping weight and getting downhill out of his breaks. Must play stronger in traffic and after catches; does not break many tackles. Must prove he can make plays against tougher competition.

Bottom line: Knox is a small-school prospect who is not well known outside scouting circles. He gained more than 1,000 yards in each of the past two seasons and is a deep threat, showing tremendous speed. He must improve his strength, but is a solid middle-round selection. Knox's experience returning punts and kicks adds to his draft value.

The cowboys needs a wide receiver with speed to burn, we have the 2 big physical wrs in roy williams and miles austin, now we need speed.

That's because you're uncommonly intelligent... :D

I don't touch Iglesias before the 4th.

Johnny Knox has more speed, is even more stronger than the wr from oklahoma and if you have watched film of johnny knox, he adjusts well to the ball, kinda like tony hill did when he came out of college, plus knox has superrior speed to stretch the field.

right avery, i think the oklahoma wr wont go till the 4th or 5th round, so should knox, id rather have knox, he can help the cowboys by stretching the field, but johnny knox is a decent punt returner and smaller too. Remember wade said tall wrs have a hard time being punt returners.

I'll give you that I am a homer but the link below suggests that he nothing like Crayton thank you very much.
