Julius Jones Can Be Easily Replaced In The Draft

I can't believe I read every post in this 19 thread debate. Very entertaining....

Looks like Harry and Lloyd beat it outta here once they were challenged for anything resembling an intelligent thought.

you like ray rice too!!!!! whenever i talk about that kid people look at me like i'm crazy. i'm glad someone else see's what ray has

Dude Ray Rice Was a finalist for the Maxwell and was 7th in Heisman voting. You're hardly the only person who's touting him. And if he comes out next year, we could have a shot at him late in the 1st, but if he stays 4 years, we're probably going to need a top 10 pick.

"Whatever it takes" doesn't work in the draft. It's been brougt up, but see the Saints and Ricky Williams.

Number 1: Holy Crap! I went to work and came home and found a 15 page thread!

Part 2: Why is everyone convinced some rookie cant step in and produce as a change of pace back? Julius sure as heel wasnt the player he was his rookie season when he tore the NFL up. But then everyone thinks a rookie from another big time program (Auburn; Irons and OSU; Pittman) cant step in and do the same...Why is the flipflopping with that?

You can't replace 3 years of EXP. Dumb question IMO.

going off you resason and your name, something tells me you deff want Marion Barber to start...am i right or am i right?

Julie Jones has been average at best. We do not have a "feature back". I've said it before and I'll say it again. BP blew it, big time, by passing on SJ. I screamed when he was right there for the taking and they traded down. If we can get a decent pick for JJ then I am all for trading him. The NFL is now a year to year league. If u can get a decent pick for him... trade him. He will not be resigned by the CB's for big money next year... JJ is NOT a difference maker. Do
you think any defensive coordinator, in our division, game plans for him? NO.

I think most of you realize this. A combination of T'nT and Barber would be just as effective. TT, has the speed to hit the corner and say... "See 'Ya". He showed last year, during preseason, that he can also run inside. Trade Julie now, while he still has some value. I'm sure some GM sucker would bite.

well if they did game plan for him our receiving core would be wide open and then that DC would get fired. And trading JJ based on his Year to year bases...yeah each year better and better, but NOPE hes garbage....

Let's all face facts. Julius Jones is NOTHING SPECIAL. He can be replaced in the draft with relative ease. He will never be much more than adequate. This guy will never come close to ES or TD, he'll never be one of the greats---plus his contract is up. Time to move the guy in my opinion. One good run every 4 games or so, ain't cuttin' it. Plus he's dinged up far to often. Time to upgrade at the RB position. Dump JuJones now. Thoughts?

Wait till next year, the 2008 draft will be RB heavy.

Only 2 guys in this draft can replace JuJo, and Dallas is not going to draft either.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but unless somebody gets desperate and hands a 2nd over for JuJo (highly unlikely), he will be carrying the rock this year.

What have you backed up?!?!?!

Where?!?!?!

You and your 'brother' don't have a brain (or a clue) between you!

It's like debating with Billy Madison!

Some words thrown out there and hope nobody realizes you're not saying anything!

Your "track record"?

You and your 'brother' are the two biggest jokes on this board - perhaps the entire internet - congratulations.

The fact that you two argumentative knuckleheads haven't been bounced already is life's true mystery......
You're funny.:lmao2:

Hostile;1426976 said:
No, you didn't. You threw out a claim. An opinion is backed up. We've repeatedly asked you to back it up and you can't.

It is also about backing up something when challenged on it. Something you have failed to even attempt.

I never asked you to prove it. I asked you to present a plan and defend it. You can't.

I haven't seen anything that you've been right on yet. That is supposed to impress me?

Where? You haven't done anything except throw a claim against the wall. That's it sparky.

I didn't make that claim though, so why should I have to prove it? In fact if you learn to read you will find that I am all for taking Marshawn Lynch...if he falls. You don't even have balls enough to say that.

You can't pigeon hole me PB. You'd have better luck trying to shove hot butter up an unchained rabid wildcat's *** with a hot poker under a July Death Valley sun than to pin me down on something I have not said.
You're copping out.:)
