i just want a rb that won't tap his helmet to come out.. is that too much to ask for?

What? Parcells did not allow that. JJ tried it his rookie season and from that moment on he wished he hadn't. BP used him 'til his tongue was draggin' the ground. I personally never saw him do it again.

a bit of both?

Maybe we could trade him for Dexter Coakley. I bet Coakley would be a good halfback. Remember that one time he ran the fake punt? Get 'er done Jerruh.

Must be the off-season....

The "lets trade Julius" mantra is insane.

This ranks about as high as "lets move Henry to FS" or "lets draft a NT In the 1st round"

many be bored, but i'm gonna disagree with the original threader and say julius deserves one more shot...

Listen to the 50 zillion post people. Apparently they know what they're talking about. I mean, ever since TO wasn't signed, we passed on Bill Parcells and ever since Drew Henson became starting quarterback, they've just proved themselves gold in their opinions as of recently. You can't.. you just can't ignore what they're saying, I mean since they're right all the time. Off the wall stuff just never happens to this team and we are the blandest silver in all the land. We take no risks. We shock nobody. Always happy. Always settled. We are merely the Dallas Cowboys. We do what is expected. A track record that speaks for itself.

you know what.... I think we should trade Terry Glenn, Roy Williams, and while we are at it - Terrence Newman

Terry Glenn is overshadowed by all the talk surrounding TO these days so maybe we need to find another wr who will take some of the heat off of TO in the media.
Roy Williams, well he gets picked on in pass coverage so hey, lets just dump him off.
and who wants another cb like Terrence Newman who gets constantly ignored on his side. Damn QBs for always throwing the other way....

now for the legal stuff...

The broken down offensive line is as much or more to blame than Julius.

Our offense lacks a consisent dominating running threat with julius jones as our featured back.. here's why. Remember when Parcells was talking about how julius runs too broad shouldered (sp), it kills his ability to slide between tackles. How is this problem ever going to change? He's too bulky and hardly breaks tackles.

Marion Barber breaks more tackles in his short time with the ball than Julius Jones ever does being our feature back. We should find a way to get Lynch the kid from cal in this draft and make up for passing up steven jackson a couple years ago.

Julius Jones has trade value, it may not be very much. He would work nice in a package deal to move up a little in the draft. GB might like him enough to let us take Lynch and them have JJ and a 3rd rounder (since we seem to be horrible in that round anyway).

Face it, Julius Jones will never make a probowl. Marion Barber averages more yards a carry than Julius and he's our GOALLINE back. Why not bring a guy in who can break tackles like Barber and slide between tackles and not run so "broad shouldered"..

No problem on the broad shoulder issues. Lay Julius Jones down on a hard surface. Have Rosie O'Donnel sit on his shoulder at the junction of where the upper arm connects. After 6 hours he will lose 4 inches.

Select Lynch the kid from Cal... gasp not him please. He generates the most hellatious cheese farts and brown out. It was because of Lynch they wrongfully upgraded the automobile emissions standards.

If we pump Micheal Jackson up on steroids he will not only break tackles but slide between the defenders while disturbingly yelping heee, heee.

I only like the combination. If you break up the duo then you better have a replacement because I don't think Barber and Thompson can carry the ball adequately

The two back system is the future, be glad we have too great backs for it, and if thompson comes back maybe 3, if its not broke dont fix it. Julius stepped his game up against Seatle now get off his case.
