thats what a RB should do, because if you turn around for the cut back lane, and there a DL looking at you, you just cost the team 2-3 yards, and a very painful experince, sorry i'll take that 1-2 yards, then a chance at neagtive yards.

yep, like I said, it's a good lesson that Parcells is teaching him, he just needs to get used to it, it'll come

Wrong- when the O line is as inconsistant as it is now, you need to take more chances.

Everyone just needs to relax and let this thing play itself out, because it will.

We have two good young backs, one will do better one play, one drive, one game, and the other will do better the next.

We don't have an Emmit or a Tony D. right now.

Let them both play and be glad we have them both.

The rest will work itself out.

oh hell no, if the Oline is inconsistent, that means in holding up the Dline as well, if JJ bounces it outside, and the Oline is on their inconsistent streak, that's negative yardage

really so when a play is going to left, and your rookie RT doenst block all the way the DE comes free, JJ cuts back and get hits so hard he gets a concussion, and is knocked out the game, is it worth the chance then?

shoot, a better case scenario, what if he loses 5 yards and/or fumbles, is it worth it?

JJ ran much better this week than last week. But he's still not 100%, and I don't think he will be until the game after thanksgiving I'm guessing.

I for one DID like the playcalling for 3 runs up the gut trying for a TD. The problem there IMHO, was not the playcalling but the offensive line. A playoff division leading team NEEDS to be able to score a TD running it up the gut like that against a team like Detroit. This scares me some.

the problem i see with the OL, is when the Def is looking for that run they get abused, but when it could be a pass the OL opens up some holes

Those were EXACTLY the wrong type of runs- REMEMBER- the strength of the Lions D was their two HUGE DT's. 330+ guys. ANd we have the shrimp at center, Plus RIvera who is not a power guy. Only LA is big and strong enough to take them on. SO IT WAS DUMB PLAYCALLING.
