Julius Jones

JuJo needs to lay off the weights a bit. He's a little too ripped. Gain back some flexibility.

Agreed that the OL played poorly. Couple that w/ the fact that Campbell had a poor year blocking when that's supposed to be his specialty.

Need to get him to the outside a bit more on sweeps. Though he can run between the tackles for power, he is not an everydowen power back. Mix it up a little.

Get him more involved in the passing game, on first and second downs. Again, don't be so predictable w/ the play calling. Should be concerned more w/ total yardage rather than rushing yardage.

Would like to see some formations w/ JuJo and Barber on the field at the same time. Keep the D guessing.

Forget being concerned with Julius. Julius hasn't been consistent, but then neither has our O-Line.

Who we all should be worried about is Tyson Thompson. The guy had his share of chances to return kicks last year, and it seemed like 85-90% of the time, the guy made up his mind before he even knew where the hole in the wedge was. Not to mention how easy he went down after the first contact was made. I will say though that he had a decent 24.5 yd/kr avg. But even then, we need someone who is more of a threat to score.

As a RB, he didn't really have his chances except that one game against the E-girls. Even then he had a so-so game (20 for 75, 3.8 avg). I'd like to see more quickness, shiftiness, elusiveness, better change of direction from him this coming year.

We have better things to worry about than our 3rd string RB. OL, FS, K, WR, LS, LB depth are just a few things that come to mind.

As far as his KOs are concerned, I thought he did more than fine. He's going to break a long one (or two) this year. Book it.

I don't know, I think you have a pretty good idea where you stand on him. You just looking for someone else to jump on the pile with ya?

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Nothing wrong with JJ. Fix the line and our running game will be OK. Oh, he is not injury prone.
