Now, this is from a Texans fan...
I just wanted to tell anyone who reads this that I believe in the Cowboys. Call me what you will, but I still believe.
I grew up an oilers fan in a cowboys dominated house. My team left and I got a new one in 2002. Like the Cowboys, I believe in the Texans. We have had a rough start (minus the first game, lol) and we pulled through. We have had all sorts of talk about us, no one takes us seriously, and no one expects jack from us.
The same can be said of the Cowboys. You get no respect, no one takes you seriously, everyone has 50 billion ways to improve the team (granted some are good ideas), and no one expects jack from you!
But as a fellow Texas resident, I gotta give some love to my neighbors. Your team has the heart to get things done, and it breaks my heart to see your own fans trash talking the ones who still love the team no matter what. And the true fans here know who I'm talking about. The ones who sit by and watch a losing game till the final seconds to support their team, the ones who put on their favorite jersey after said loss. The true fans. As a Texan, my ultimate fantasy game would be Texans and Cowboys in the Superbowl. Could it happen? Sure. We might both fail and never see a winning season ever again. But I believe in my Texans and you all should believe in your Cowboys.
If you read this and have a page and a half worth of comments to give me why I'm wrong and why I need to take a long walk off a short pier, then do so. But if your blood runs with blue and silver, then stand up and support your team and tell the world who you are. Love your guys till the end, playoffs or no playoffs. If you lose, carry on and keep your heads held high. And if you win, stand up and shout...
