I’m 36 and grew up in Dallas watching the Cowboys religiously for the last 30 years. With comments from Jerry and Stephan I am starting to question why I watch at all. I drag myself Sunday after Sunday to watch and support a team whose owner only cares about doing things his way and profit. I hope I am wrong but if Jerry keeps JG after this debacle after the year I will be done. Am I the only one that feels this way?

Leave or stay, nobody cares. But do us a favor and keep your tantrums in the drama zone where they belong.

I respect a fan who suffers and loves when it's great. But start crying mutiny with the team, and not his targeted escape goat...well, goodbye. I support other fans. Can't be loyal, despite failure disappointments, find another team. I won't label my own feelings in abstract reasons for blame. I'll at least watch the season, before a valid analysis. Then we'll assess where blame belongs...before then, a running tally is as far as conclusions go..

I've been done with this team. I get benched over the summer here on this site because I was right and I was messing with the cowboyzones money. They want to get paid by you the fan and anyone who says the truth gets banned. Done with this site and this team............

Thank goodness. Now, back to the real fans.

Who needs you? Go find a new team right now.

Quitters quit. It’s just what they do. I suggest go and root for the Patriots my fair weather fan.

And yet, here you are.

Look at all of the holier than thou arts...

I agree that JJ and co are making it very difficult to be a fan these days. I will remain a fan but I'm finding that I don't care nearly as much as I used to. Missing games isn't that big of a deal anymore. I can't get any of my kids to watch the games with me. It doesn't seem like there is much of a market for new fans.

I hear ya HC. I have 3 grown sons in their 30s and they all grew up watching Cowboys games with me. But now, they laugh at me for still watching the Cowboys. My oldest son says he’s done with the Cowboys until Jerry is gone. Most of the “millennials” I know feel the same way.

Obviously I’m also frustrated with what the Jones cartel has done to my favorite team. But I refuse to surrender my fandom to Jerry.

It's because we remember the great years. I can't picture young fans putting up with this year after year.

My oldest son was 12 when the Cowboys last played in an NFC championship and SB. We laughed together the other day looking at a picture of us with Cowboys gear on, taken in Jan, ‘96.

I was 38 at the time. Now I’m 60. I guess I’m supposed to patiently await for Jerry to show us he knows what he’s doing.

It's amazing how many willfully blind minions still support his stubborn *** and then go as far to get butt hurt when someone expresses their fan fatigue over jerrys football idiocy which has been on full display for 29 years now
:hammer:

Agree and quite hilarious. We're "fake fans" I love it when the trolls trot that rubbish out. My boys refuse to watch now. I now rarely watch because without them watching, why bother. The whole idea of Sundays is family time. We find other things to do instead of watch what is mostly commercials.
It's rigged anyway just like the WWE and there is not even a law against it. It's even gone to the Supreme Court. It's entertainment/ The refs can cheat or do whatever they want to keep games "entertaining." and we all know they do.

When I do watch, it's purely to wish they LOSE because I despise Booger and I simply LMAO and use it as an excuse to drink beer - pure entertainment just to see Booger's face after another stoopid loss caused by the same things that have caused the other losses: JJ's OWN CHOICES because he's what casinos call a plunger. HA;f the people in the sports bar I frequent hate the Boys and root for the other team and they are Texans!!!!! Losing out would be the best thing that happened to this idiot and half the country feels that way except now it won't even help because his #! is history!!!!!!!!!!!! INSANITY!

Believe me, most millennials couldn't care less about this arse-clown carnival. .JJ has lost an entire generation of fans, not that he cares.
Under JJ, the Cowboys star is tarnished and the values the team once held have died under the morally despicable Arkansas boys..
Giving up a 1st for a WR is the most laughable thing that's happened in years. Been a fan since 1965 - remember the great years and great players - and I now despise this organisation> It took a long time but it's done. I'm done. All I can do now is LMAO at this drunk bozo's bad choices and poor decisions and his clapping clown of an amatuer HC.
Tell ya what - I'll come to the forum now long enough on Sundays to see the final score and laugh.
Mediocrity for 2 decades - brought to you by Jerry "Johnny Walker" Jones. But don't forget to buy VIP tickets on the stripper bus.

Yup. I am passionless at the moment. I don't even get excited at winning any more.

I won't ever quit, but I'm not buying what Jerry is selling.
