Once again, your scoring record is irrelevant in the context of a comparison between UT and OU.

Based on every relevant objective measure, UT was a better team than OU. Do you deny this? Are you even going to address the point? Or are you going to continue to engage in deflection by pounding your chest about putting up 60 points on OSU?

The Sooners lost their bowl game, giving them more losses than Texas; therefore, they lost the ability to bring Tech into the discussion.

And the Cowboys won the NFC East in 2007. The Giants were still the better team in the end.

And lost...again.

I haven't said anything about putting up 60 on OSU, have I? Since a season is judged by more than one game then I would have to say OU was the better team hence the conferece Championship. I think ultimately that is the most relevant, wouldn't you say? Or did Mack proclaim UT Big 12 South co-champs again and give everyone rings? lol

Again the point being, win your game against Tech and we have no argument. Lose and then someone else decides your destiny.

You have, hence your incessant bleating about the scoring record.

Since a season is judged by more than one game then I would have to say OU was the better team hence the conferece Championship.

Allow me to summarize:

Texas finished with a better record than OU.

Texas finished with a higher ranking than OU in the AP poll.

Texas finished with a higher ranking than OU in the Coaches Poll.

Texas actually won its BCS bowl game.

And, most importantly, Texas beat OU by 10 points on a neutral field.

Yet, according to you, OU was the better team.

:laugh2:

It's now painfully clear how much credence we should place in your analytical faculties.

And then OU chokes up ANOTHER chance at a National Title. There is a bright however. At least this time the Sooners didn't choke up a 7 point lead to Boise with less tha 30 seconds on the clock. A hook and ladder and a statue of lyberty? IN THE SAME GAME?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

And OU won the Conference...

Like I said, I don't pull for either team. My school hasn't been relavant nationally on a regular basis since 1991.

Be relevant and then talk.

Ahhh, did the poor wittle Sooner fan get his feewings hurt? How about this sparky? Win a game that matters "and then talk". Seriously, when was the last time you guys won a bowl game that didn't have the word "Holiday" in the title? Tell me, who will OU choke up a bowl game to this season? Can't beat the Pac10, can't beat the SEC, can't beat the WAC (that one must have really hurt), can't beat the Big East. You guys are running out of conferences to lose to. Maybe you should pray for a game vs the other perenial D1 choke team Ohio State this year. The Runner Up Bowl. One of you would have to win.

Feelings? lol You must really think highly of yourself...

Both our teams won Bowls that year. OU won the Holiday bowl, can't say this fires me up. Clemson won the Champs Sports bowl, gotta admit I didn't even know this was a bowl.

So tell me this sparky when was the last time your team won a game that matters? OU may not be able to win in a BCS bowl game of late but at least they beat someone. Last time Clemson even won a game of relevance the Coaches Daddy had to throw the his boy a bone and throw the game.

It's pretty pathetic to think a Clemson fan is is trying to talk about a program that is top 5 historically in college football when Clemson is just a pimple on the butt of the college football landscape.

I think my comment from before holds true. Be relevant, then talk.

You may be right about my boys but one thing is for certain there Sparky. The last time Clemson saw Oklahoma, we ran Barry Switzer's *** out of college football. Now that I think about it, we did the same thing to Woody Hayes the last time we saw Ohio State. Yet another thing Runner Up U #1 and #2 have in common.

How nice is it that the Sooner nation will be the first to baptize Jerry's world into regulation football??

Yup, and hopefully they can get the power washers and steam cleaners in to get the stench out by the time the Cowboys/Giants game kicks shortly after that.

:p: ;)

You'll never get rid of it. OU will always be the first team to play a regulation football game in the stadium.

Priceless.

I'm gonna save my ticket stub for this one for sure. :)

Yep. We'll just have to see what happens this year. I have a much more bold prediction this year for the RRS though.

52-24 Sooners. Crazy? Maybe. But I'll be laughing when we slaughter the cattle this time around.

Nice start, Sooner-head...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... it's not often that trash talking comes back to bite you in the butt THIS early in the season...

Let's see-- that revamped offensive line opened such huge holes that the Sooners gained all of 265 yards (against last year's 59th ranked defense in the FBS), and a sizzling 3.8 yards per carry (against last year's 60th ranked run defense in the FBS)... and oh yeah, they got your Heisman candidate killed...

And your beloved Sooners etched their names forever into the history of Cowboys Stadium, as the first team to ever lose a game that counted in there...

Again, permit me to BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... to quote one of the more amusing trolls we ever had in here, your boys seem to have huge amounts of lots of work to do...

You must be so proud this morning... again, I salute you with one final BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...
