Just an interesting stat on Diggs

I like Diggs and he's playing well, progressing well, but since Gil Brandt is comparing Pollard to Lenny Moore, might as well compare Diggs to Primetime now. You think?

Diggs has 5 interceptions in 14 games as a Cowboy.

Byron Jones had 2 in 79 games.
Diggs is a playmaker, and as long as he continues to make the plays, he'll be a great asset. If he starts missing the play too often, it'll be very costly.

If Diggs gets an INT vs. Philthy it would be 3 in a row against them. He had 3 against them last year.
It would also make him the second Cowboy in Dallas history to have an INT in the first 3 games, he would join Everson Walls.
Right now he joins Roy Williams with having an INT in the first 2 games.

Diggs is the Eagles assassin.

I know at least one of Jones' INTs was an end of 1st half hail Mary pass. The 2nd if I'm not mistaken was a tipped pass that went straight to him. He almost never broke on the ball. He would swat passes away efficiently but he would never be in positions to pick them off. You'd think the qb would be off one day and just throw it more to him than the WR

Mo Claiborne had just 7 in 85 career games. Remember, we traded two 1st round picks for that guy. Not to mention, Jerry said our scouting department gave Claiborne the highest grading for a cornerback since Deion, smh.
point still stands, but it was a first and a 2nd. and if we’re to believe the after talk the 2nd would’ve been used on bobby wagner :(

Yep, I think that’s right.

Some guys just don’t have ball skills when it’s time to compete when the football is in the air.

You’re right, it was for a 1st and 2nd.

We would have taken Brockers and Wagner per Jerry during the post draft presser.

Wagner is arguably a HOF caliber player and Brockers turned out to be a rock-solid and productive player.

And one of byron jones' ints was a halftime hail mary attempt so really only 1. And was also in coverage on that play to cook to cost us the playoff game in 2016.

So glad hes gone. Hasnt done a thing in Miami either. Just wait til he loses a step.

Read a piece of Diggs telling a reporter after the season he counted 14 passes he got his hands on but only can away with a couple of interceptions. That's unacceptable as he put it.....

The Cowboys have not had a Pick 6 in 59 games. Just seen that stat on Cowboys Game Day on the the local CBS station in DFW.
Can Diggs break this steak soon, maybe Monday night?

The only other teams with longer streaks are the Panthers at 78 games, and the Cardinals at 65 games.
