I'm admitting that I wanted Johnson, but, I am more than happy (sounds like a sick mental condition) to have the guys we have.

I just had no idea how great our draft would fall into place. I figured, with the Howard talk, that Johnson would be the final piece to staying a 4-3. Seeing how well our draft came together, and the intregal 3-4 type guys we selected, we seem to have done the right thing. As Ware gets another sack.....

My team has and will always be FSU, although I like talent. DJ was high on my list of players that I would have wanted. Every week I go to the NFL Game Stats to see how each rookie is doing for every team and it just struck me that he wasn't in any of them. If you do a search, I'm one of the guys that is always talking about the draft a year in advance and Dj was one of my favs. Young will be on my list of players to watch. By the way, I'm waitn for my apology.

Like I said, I go to the Game Stats. I've never gone to the play by play or the team stats, just GAme Stats that the NFL provides.

LOL... OK, you've got it...

I'm another devoted draftnik, in fact I have already got a coupla hundred college players, complete with heights, weights and 40 times (for most of them), on an Excel spreadsheet...

It adds spice to the college season, I can now watch games that don't involve my 3 favorite teams (Texas, Virginia and Tennessee), and have some interest in the proceedings...

Among the Horns this year, I like DB Michael Huff and OT Jonathan Scott, and have mixed feelings about DT Rodrique Wright... if he steps up this year, and plays like he did 2 years ago, I'll be a lot more "sold" on him...

Well, he says he's not biased against the Horns, and I'll take his word for it... but you and I both know that assorted Horns haters have been trashing DJ's preseason play to date...

As for Merriman, perhaps if somebody trashed some Horns prospect EVERY year, then a pattern might emerge... one year, it's Quentin Jammer, the next it's Chris Simms, last year it was Derrick Johnson...

Every year, the Horns haters have a semi-organized campaign to trash UT's best draft prospects... that's a simple and indisputable fact...
