Funny how a Eagle RB now holds the dallas records for
1.most yards in a season
2.most yards in a game (also a rookie record)
3. most consecutive 100 yard + games
4. 1958 NFL rushing record of 1st 8 games over 100 yds. (56 year old record)
and many other records for 2nd best in his rookie season. and some other records.

So for a back with duck feet and poor vision, no speed, and left meat on the bone and not worth much , and o yeah injury prone ,
he did pretty good!
Must have been sheer luck and the OL, good thing dallas unloaded him! Now he is the Eagles problem.

Once upon a time, you could have said a lot of the same things about a Broncos RB, and about a Cardinals RB. I am elated that Jerry has moved past rewarding players on past performances.

If your argument is look at these things Murray has done in the past you've already lost.

Seriously, people complained for years about bad contracts. Now that Dallas is taking steps to mitigate the chances of going down that road again, people are complaining about the results. Moral of the story: people don't know what they want and will find something to complain about no matter what.

First of all, you don't know reality because reality has not happened yet. You and others want to dwell or live in the past...that is your reality. The present is reality and the future has not happened yet so there is nothing "real" about your little man hitting the ground when he falls. Once he hit the pavement, his reality is over. And, the Dallas Cowboys have not hit the pavement as you and others think they have. But, carry on living in the past and don't let the future hold you back from your so called reality.

You'd argue with an oil stain on your driveway.

And most likely lose.

Thread should be called ...."just another running back thread with the same posters making the same points".

The reality is no one can really know how this will play out. Will Murray do well this year? No one knows. Will our committee do well this year? No one knows. Will Peterson prove that 30 isn't the end for a RB? No one knows. Will Dallas regret passing on a RB in the draft? No one knows. Is our OL good enough to allow us to be successful with any pro back? No one knows.

There is no right or wrong in June. Just like last June almost everyone (myself included) thought we would need some breaks to make it to 8-8 last year.

Of course there are questions about the RB position. As there should be. What we don't have though are answers since no one knows until everyone knows.

I could make lyrics out of this post. Thank you....

I like it when other people try to tell other people what to do with their money. Maybe I can tell the OP what he should do when raise time comes up. Be a team player. So I stopped reading after that first sentence.

Philly is just as close to winning the Super Bowl as the boys are. So him going there didn't mean he went to a lesser team. They always find a way to get pressure on the QB, and has an explosive offense. We have a decent offense and HAD a great running game. To have these RB threads this late means even fans don't believe we're okay at running back. But to suggest that he should take less to be with a team who's "supposedly" better is just not the case.

The perception is that RB is the weakest area of our team hence it is the most popular thread topic. There are a large amount of fans that think we are OK at RB and still start and respond to RB threads.

Anyone not a little worried about our RB situation is just foolin' themselves(hears Def Leppard).

We have a knucklehead, a has been and a never was.

Justin Forsett exploded for BAL last year, so there is always hope.
Simple & to the point. Great point btw. I'm very worried but hopeful something pans out. Thanks for not including graphs.
