Murray is not the team MVP. Not even close. He's the benefactor of the offensive line play.

Maybe its not sexy or exciting but this team can handle losing Murray than any of those 4 offensive linemen right now.

Well think he has to have consideration . He's a top 3 NFL MVP candidate .

Not to mention the mugging that Dez Bryant had to endure all afternoon from Sherman. I've never seen a DB get away with so many tugs, grabs, pulls, and holds. Are the refs afraid to flag him because the 'best CB in the NFL' will have egg on his face? Or is it because were they to flag him within the rules then Seattle would draw a penalty every play? Hey, too bad. Don't break the rules, you hump!

I loved the irony of Pete Carroll crying for an interference penalty late in the game.

LOL.... I have a good friend of mine who went to the game in the Link. That Sunday Morning, I got a text from him that read, "I'm at BW, waiting to spank that Cowboy (you know what)."

Haven't heard one thing out of him since.

Of course, you also said this was a 5 or 6 win team at best. Ready to reconsider?

Yes, there was a contingent of Cowboys' fans. Id say about 15-20%. Didnt hear them much until the 4th quarter. Then we got loud...

Awesome post! Did you hear any other cowboy fans? It sounded on the TV like there might have been quite a few.

BBQ

The Cowboy fans chant of, "DEE-FENSE...DEE-FENSE" was clearly audible during the last 3-4 Seattle possessions. :flagwave:

I don care what mike says and how explained.

Brady, manning and brees get the call.
It's ridiculous.

Agreed. When Romo was sacked, and Irvin came in and smacked Romo's helmet. The big 3 QB's get that call as well.

It is ridiculous

One of my proudest moments as a Cowboys fan (and that's saying alot having gone to all the Super Bowls in the 90s). Here are my observations:

The defensive backs were amazing. There was so little room for Wilson to throw. I was shaking my head that this is the same personnel (absent one glaring CB) as last year.

The DL had a great game, not so much rushing, but containing Wilson. He did not have lanes to run because the DL was disciplined. And they played the read option very well. Man, Marinelli has done an amazing job this year. Who hired Monte Kiffen as DC over this guy 2 years ago?

Rolando McClain, next to Demarco, is this team's MVP. And that is saying alot given how the O Line is playing. In person, he looks amazingly bigger than any other LB. And it shows in how physical he is at the point of attack. Not to mention his game saving pick. I have been uber critical of JJ as a GM, but this is one of his biggest hits.

The O-line was dominant, as was obvious from the rushing stats. But even more, when the momentum shifted and it looked like we might fold as we've done before, they protected Romo in the 4th and continued to open holes (even after made a great halftime adjustment to shut down the run).

Escobar needs to play more. He is a matchup problem.

Dunbar needs to play more. He is a matchup problem.

Sterling Moore is really good. His play on the deep pass to Kearse was amazing.

The fans at Century Link were livid with the refereeing. Hard for me to tell without watching the video, but we did seem to benefit from a number of calls, especially the tripping call on Sherman. But the more aggressive team usually gets the calls.

Century Link is the best place in America to watch an NFL football game, bar none. It is a college atmosphere. And having been to Dallas last year, I am embarrassed by our home field disadvantage. Maybe the bandwagon fans will jump back on now that we are 5-1, but it is night and day.

That is all fans... Happy to answer questions.

Marinelli hired Kiffen as DC over himself two years ago, lol.
He didn't want to be DC.
Rumors are he took the promotion to keep Kiff employed here(anywhere).

Agree about using some of the guys in match ups going forward week to week.

The play Moore made on Kearse was huge but it was bad technique. He gave up the inside to a bigger WR.
Great job of recovering to tomahawk that thing outta there.

SEA doesn't have much explosiveness. That can bite you and it did against us. IF Lynch isn't getting big yards on first down they fall behind the chains and it gets tough because outside Harvin and the running QB they don't have playmakers.
The way Dallas played Wilson is exactly right. Keep containment and play honest to your lanes.
Make him beat you with throws and his accuracy will slip at times.

He's in utter shock at what the Cowboys are currently doing; completely dispelling his early season predictions and premonitions for the 2014-15 season.

What's left? I guess to tell everyone that Murray should be lucky to even be playing in the NFL. With this line of thinking, Emmitt and all his accolades don't mean squat.

most impressed of all was the D's discipline that they pretty much maintained the entire game. Never saw them do that before.
