I couldn't tell from the replays that I saw and haven't heard it mentioned on TV, ... was it tipped or dropped?

The best answer is that it was tipped because Galloway hates Owens and if he thought T.O. flat out dropped it Randy would have reported that fact.

The defender was falling before the ball reached TO. I'm looking at the play at this moment.

It looks like it could be possible the defender grabbed TO's right hand, but a ref is standing about 10 feet away on the back line of the end zone. I would think the ref would have thrown a flag if that were the case.
