I think I have a new favorite dessert.

At my niece's graduation party yesterday, one of my other nieces brought a banana cheesecake that she had a friend make for her. It's got a banana bread base, rather than the typical cheesecake crust, and it was absolutely amazing. I just had a piece for breakfast.

So, what's your favorite?

My daughter-in-law made a Banana Pudding Cheesecake with her homemade vanilla wafers as the crust. That was a show stopper.

Bread pudding for me but it can’t have raisins or nuts in it! I also love vanilla bean creme brûlée. But, the best dessert that I have ever had is Gordon Ramsey’s sticky toffee pudding

Is that the one with banana cake base? Never had that one, but I've never made a bad sticky toffee pudding. The caramel sauce is what makes it.

That's the one I make too. Guess Ramsay has more than one recipe but the banana cake base on that I found sounds disgusting to me.

My two favorite desserts are banana pudding and cheesecake. She's my favorite daughter-in-law, she's the only one but I favor her over all daughter-in-laws or daughters-in law or daughters-in laws everywhere. Figured I'd cover my bases before I get corrected, they can just throw two out and keep the right one and feel fulfilled.

Very much depend on the mood and what I'm hankering for.

There are simply times when I want ice cream and not cake.

There are other times when I want strawberry shortcake and nothing to do with chocolate.

Sometimes I just want something simple like a frosted brownie.

Mood plays a big part in it.

Also the meal can play a part.

After a big meal a little vanilla ice cream with some crème de menthe on it can taste like the greatest dessert ever!

Those MY pies, are they that because you make them or once you get your hands on one it's only the death wishers that should approach you?
