You take advantage of the uncapped year and restructure. I think he would be more than willing to restructure to have a shot at a Ring.

Had me a flashback of the season where we were supposed to have Deion and Kevin Smith on the same field in 95 and Pup blew out his knee in the first game of the season... I just think the D will be even a bit better this year barring any major injuries. I just don't see it is why I said it's not a need. ... ... Buuut... that would make for one hell of a nightmare for QBs... nobody open and Ware, Spencer, and Rat chasing you on 2nd and 3rd and longs.

Yeah I can't say I wouldn't do that. To have that guy and Jenkins on the field at the same time would be great. Then you'd have Newman to either play in the slot, where he's really good as well, or you could even try and move Newman for a later pick in the draft or whatever. I wouldn't be opposed to such a move but I can say there are a few other things I'd rather we take care of but I wouldn't be upset if this happened.

Of course we all know it has to be just for fun cause there is zero shot of this ever happening.

he was a FS in college and he would be ridiculously better than anyone else we could get at 27 to play that position.
