If you could pick any player in the NFC East to play for the Cowboys next year, who would that be?

Seems a little slow around here, so just throwing it out for fun.

Literally... Ware. He is the best player in the division. But I think you meant non-Cowboys... Strangely, given team needs, maybe Snee. But Tuck would be a temptation, as would Landry.

interesting question....

my immediate thoughts reduces it to 5 guys:
Chris Snee at OG.
Portis at RB
Justin Tuck at 3-4 DE
Westbrook at RB
Mikell at SS.

I'll drop Tuck because I am not sure he could play every down in the 3-4.

I think Portis is a little more durable than Westbrook and a little better between the tackles so I'll drop Westbrook.

We have Barber, Felix and Tashard at Rb but Kosier/Bigg/Holland/Proctor at OG.

But we have RW, Keith Davis at SS.

I think Mikell is the biggest upgrade for us right now and he is only 28 years old.

So give me Quintin Mikell.

Given his age, contribution, and the positions of need within the Cowboys, I would have to take Justin Tuck. But I'm curious how well he would perform in the 3-4. Kenny Phillips is another interesting prospect at his age and with his hard-hitting style.

Except that Taylor couldn't play for you next year, or any year, since he was murdered.

Any one player....geez...that's actually pretty tough. There are several.

Going completely off needs I'd have to say it would be Landry or maybe Snee.

Just off of who I'd like to take because of what they could bring to this team I'd be looking at Westbrook or Moss possibly. Couldn't go wrong with Justin Tuck either.

Might help to entertain a position of need......

The only RB that didn't miss a game last season was T choice even though he's good he's no Westbrook hell a healthy MB3 isn't Westbrook.

Donovan McNabb. As much as I like Romo, we'd be better off b/c 5 has never been surrounded w/ as much talent that Dallas has. He's also proven himself in December/January when it counts the most (well except for the Super Bowl). Put him behind center and the watch the trophy case grow!!

Tuck doesn't even play full time in a 4-3. They regularly substitute him out. I don't think he is big enough to be a DE in a 3-4. He is closer to a OLB in a 3-4.
