I know its unlikely but what do you guys think about trading for Peyton Hillis.

A couple key points

1. He's on the verge of asking for a trade. He wants $$$
2. Played at Arkansas with Felix
3. Big bruiser we could use

Again, I know trades aren't likely..but who knows...and seriously, I'm done talking about Romo.

I'm not so sure I agree w/ you. Goose said on Hitzges' show that we need a big back that can get us 1 yard when we need it ala the run at the goal on our 2nd possession of the game. I think I'd at least look into it if I were Jerry...

RB isn't a high concern on my list. Better secondary play, getting healthy and having the OLine stay strong are what I'm looking for. Felix will be fine and DeMarco will come on the more touches he gets.

Would love to have him, but it would cost too much and his contract will probably be too high, too. I wouldn't pay RBs too much, especially the bruiser type. We saw that with Barber.

Love Hillis' game, though. Would be awesome to see he and Felix teamed up again.

This is why not. We already have cap issues from the past big contracts. He is not the difference maker for big $$$$$.

This is clearly one of the biggest obstacles, probably the biggest. However, he's 24 (25 in January) and has plenty of good years left. 3-4 year deal and pay the guy. Im thinking he could be a difference maker this season..but I'm not certain.

wait a year or two and get SMU's Zach Line (6'1", 230# Junior) in the middle/late rounds. He is from the same mold as Hillis. Great vision, good burst, lacking in top speed, but always goes forward.
Last season he had 10 TD's, 1494 yds, and a 6.1 YPC average. This year he already has 583 yds & 11 TD's (5.9 average). (120+ yds against both Texas A&M and TCU).
He is a class-act, too. Here are some highlights from 2010.

What in the world does his color have to do with him DOING HGH or Roids? Nice way to try and make someone sound like they are being racial when in fact they were not. Sometimes I just don't get some of the comments and personal attacks on this board. It's a friggin internet message board!
