Would love to pick him up but dont see the browns trading him at all. I get we have bigger needs but the run game is obviously a need considering our game against the jets we couldn't punch it in when Tony fumbled on 3rd down and the lions game which we didnt run at all. So technically it is a need

Would love to have him, but it would cost too much and his contract will probably be too high, too. I wouldn't pay RBs too much, especially the bruiser type. We saw that with Barber.

Love Hillis' game, though. Would be awesome to see he and Felix teamed up again.

Yeah, I could be wrong, but I don't think Hillis is going to have a very long career, at least not as a top back. He delivers and takes a lot of punishment.

All I've read is that he's very happy in Cleveland and the Browns are trying to work out a long-term deal. I don't think the "t" word is even in their thoughts, unless they are thinking about "tough."

It makes no sense to trade for a quality RB right now when the blocking is so poor.

I'm not so sure I agree w/ you. Goose said on Hitzges' show that we need a big back that can get us 1 yard when we need it ala the run at the goal on our 2nd possession of the game. I think I'd at least look into it if I were Jerry...

just bc we need him mostly for short yardage and goal line carries doesnt mean we cant use him regularly..

As he should be. I don't believe there is a snowball's chance in Hades that the Cowboys could get Hillis, but I would be very happy if they did

If were going to pass this much, id like us to have a big power back who will " fall forward" if you would. Than choice or Felix with added weight... Not sure with Murray. Id love to see him get bulk of carries at somepoint... All for it if we would do it.

Choice is good for nothing..I'm ok w outright cutting that scrub..might as well throw him in the trade. So what if Felix starts. We can still use Hillis.

I love Hillis style and heart, but definitely has a limited shelf life. Taking that kind of pounding will lead to a short career, but I think also takes it toll over the course of a season as well. Watching him last year, the injuries and pounding started to take their toll and he wasn't as effective that last third or so of the season. If you could get him for practically nothing, that's great, but i don't think it would be worth what we would have to give up to get him. I would love to have a big bruising back for getting those tough short yards, but think that's something you draft or sign undrafted free agent for.

Looks like Peyton Hillis has fell out of favour in Cleveland and since Tashard Choice is kind of redundant in Dallas I was wondering if a one for one swap makes sense. Pure speculation on my part of course, but I figure neither team would have much to lose and Hillis gives the 'Boys a short yardage presence, while Choice might be a good fit paired with the power runnning Hardesty.
Is this something you guys would be happy with? Would Choice be enough for Hillis (who is a FA)?

If we included a second round pick then possibly but other wise you are right. who in the blue hell would want a guy who never cracked a 100 yrd game for a pro bowler and madden cover guy!!!!
