Just for fun, who was better, Olajuwon or Duncan?

I think just using the one word "consistent" does a disservice to Duncan. He's way more than just consistent.

It does and it should be noted that he was consistently great, I just think that Hakeem had a spike in career numbers from like 93-96, that surpassed Duncan's best years
 
I was not big into basketball but I remember when a friend of mine told me, "You need to watch Phi Slama Jama" UH basketball and after watching The Dream and Clyde "The Glide" Drexler. I was hooked.

Then seeing Hakeem get drafted by Houston, I would watch until the day he retired after that lost interest once again

 
In their primes, it is a tie because both can create an impact on both sides of the ball.

Overall, I will have to say Duncan based on consistency late in his career.
