as expected i was just reading a bunch of stupid posts on BB.com about bledsoe and how bad the cowboys are, how they dumped their trash on us, blah blah blah.... It's pitiful how some fans in this league are. One meaningless preseason game and we're finished. Yet they barely beat the worst defense in the leagues third stringers with JP Lessman and they think their bound for Detroit. This joker looked horrible against the colts first unit and hit a few meaningless plays late in the 2nd half. He was also sacked twice and lost a fumble deep in their own territory. A team that had 20 penalties, most coming from the o-line has no room to talk either.
Was Bledsoe pitiful in his first game as a cowboy? Absolutely, in fact our line was worse looking that buffalos sorry excuse for one. But in his defense this is an entirely revamped offense and Bledsoes 5 offensive coordinator in five years....also the fact we play this cardinals team(who i've felt all along are going tobe a dark horse like us) in the regular season is enough a reason alone not to put much stock in this game. The Cowboys have a history of playing pathetic as a team in their first preseason game every year anyhow, yet we still almost won the game on saturday. I'm curious as to what the tone would be if we won the game....preseason is a joke.

The bottom line is until september 11th I could care less what happens. Even if we go 0-4 and Bledsoe struggles every game, until I see the final stats of a game taht matters then i will be concerned or worried.

Bledsoe barely played. Dallas has to straighten out RT. Pettiti will be good but he's too young to start. Looks like Vollers again should Rogers continue to be a wus.

Arizona has a good pass rusher in Berry and Pettiti was a bit overwhelmed by whatshisname. Still that TD was as flukish a pass as you'll see all year. Usually when you badly miss your main receiver in the red zone the ball doesn't land in the hands of another one of your receivers a mere six inches off the ground.

I like to browse other teams message boards for my own sick amusement, especially the Bills...there's hundreds of posts about mcgahee rushing for 2000 yards, the defense being better than the 86 bears D, losman better than tom brady even though he hasn't even played a down yet....add to the fact the 100's of pats and jets trolls there rubbing it in about how pathetic their team is and it makes for good entertainment. I thought Egirls fans were the biggest delusional homers in the NFL until i started visiting BB.com for insightful football knowledge.

fans are always going to over-react in the preseason. Even if shown evidence where it was not warranted in the past. Don't get me wrong I have my concerns but I did even during TC when almost all the players were getting glowing reports.

Check out the Cardinals msg board. Their fans are now convinced they easily win the west and will make major noise in the playoffs. I think they are an imnproved team, no doubt. But just pointing out how so many fans overreact positively or negatively after one preseason game.

Whatver, Bills fans can say whatever they want. I just kindly remind them of the early 90s against us. And if I really wanna be a *winky* I mention the other 2 games during that time span as well.

If you don't feed a lion in a month, he will eat anything that moves and love it. We have not seen football in ages (it seems) and so we see one little preseason game and we are all over it like it was the Superbowl.
As for the Bills, they are still upset over the Superbowl sweep we put on them.

Bledsoe hasn't proven anything yet, and until he does the Bills fans have the right to talk $#!+ plain and simple. He has 3 preseason games and 16 (hopefully more)regular season games to show what he has.

Here's to hoping he proves them wrong.:beer2:

Bledsoes 5 offensive coordinator in five years.

Is that so?

Gilbride he had for two years, and Weis for two.

Actually the last five haven't fared as badly as some of the earlier. Of the last five only 'timing' gurus GilBride and Zampese lost their jobs....Weis and Mularkey's OC dodged the bullet by moving Drew elsewhere.

Let's see how Peyton fares.

What does he have to do with Bledsoe playing worse than Testaverde?

I have not seen anything from Losman that shows he is the next tom brady- more like he is the next Ryan Leaf.

Bledsoe is worse than Testaverde according to Klesko. He knows this after one quarter of the first preseason game. An absolute friggin Genius this guy is.

In regard to voyages into the Bills message boards you have to remember one thing, they chose to release a QB who lead them to a 9-7 season, would have been 10-6 and a playoff berth if Leftwich doesn't complete a prayer in the back of the endzone as time expires. Instead they turn to an unproven 2nd year QB who has barely thrown an NFL pass. They are scared. Scared to death. Scared that they could end up with one of the worst records in the NFL this season. Scared that there top of the line defense will go to waste because they will field a QB who simply is not ready to compete at this level. Anytime Bledsoe isn't too great, it will help settle those fears some. They will feel a slight sense of relief. Their biggest nightmare would be that Bledsoe lead the Cowboys to the playoffs, a place they long to be. That the Cowboys fleeced them in the 2004 NFL draft and then again in 2005 free agency, basically trading J. P. Losman (that QB we talked about who is not ready for the NFL) for Drew Bledsoe and Marcus Spears. I understand that beause that's a huge win for Dallas.

So yes, they will hope against hope that Bledsoe does not play well. I just hope they are ready for a season they will eventually wish they could forget.

By the way, you don't have to go far to read people bashing Bledsoe after one quarter of the first preseason game. There are a number of them right here. That's what being a Dallas Cowboys fan has become. Instead of sticking up for our players and defending them if we can, we turn on them and bash them just as hard, if not harder than our opponents and rival fans. Makes you proud doesn't it. This place is full of pathetic excuses for Cowboys fans who will probably celebrate just as hard as the Bills fans, at any lack of success that they hope Bledsoe will have. They have already started. I, for one, will have Bledsoes back through thick and thin.

The fact that your worried about Drew Bledsoe playing better than a guy with 5 passes is, well pretty damn sad and just a little bit scary.

What is even more sad and scary is that there is even the need to go to a Bills board and then have the gall to come back angry because they are not praising a very poor performance and bashing a guy they got rid of. We do it too. All fans do. It's easy.

Without Mcgahee, fool, Bledsoe is nothing.
