Bledsoe is worse than Testaverde according to Klesko. He knows this after one quarter of the first preseason game. An absolute friggin Genius this guy is.
In regard to voyages into the Bills message boards you have to remember one thing, they chose to release a QB who lead them to a 9-7 season, would have been 10-6 and a playoff berth if Leftwich doesn't complete a prayer in the back of the endzone as time expires. Instead they turn to an unproven 2nd year QB who has barely thrown an NFL pass. They are scared. Scared to death. Scared that they could end up with one of the worst records in the NFL this season. Scared that there top of the line defense will go to waste because they will field a QB who simply is not ready to compete at this level. Anytime Bledsoe isn't too great, it will help settle those fears some. They will feel a slight sense of relief. Their biggest nightmare would be that Bledsoe lead the Cowboys to the playoffs, a place they long to be. That the Cowboys fleeced them in the 2004 NFL draft and then again in 2005 free agency, basically trading J. P. Losman (that QB we talked about who is not ready for the NFL) for Drew Bledsoe and Marcus Spears. I understand that beause that's a huge win for Dallas.
So yes, they will hope against hope that Bledsoe does not play well. I just hope they are ready for a season they will eventually wish they could forget.
By the way, you don't have to go far to read people bashing Bledsoe after one quarter of the first preseason game. There are a number of them right here. That's what being a Dallas Cowboys fan has become. Instead of sticking up for our players and defending them if we can, we turn on them and bash them just as hard, if not harder than our opponents and rival fans. Makes you proud doesn't it. This place is full of pathetic excuses for Cowboys fans who will probably celebrate just as hard as the Bills fans, at any lack of success that they hope Bledsoe will have. They have already started. I, for one, will have Bledsoes back through thick and thin.
