Just got back from Bills Message Board, I see they are shooting their mouths off

One thing is for sure. Testaverde never looked anywhere near as jittery as Bledsoe in the pocket. He does have a shotput looking release too, Vinny's was alot prettier.

What does he have to do with Bledsoe playing worse than Testaverde?

the thread was about Bills fans bashing the Bledsoe signing in Dallas....

they'll probably be wishing he was still ther after a few games of Lostman

Well we have "fans" on this board saying things, if I may paraphrase, such as "OMG, I cant believe I even got excited for this year", to "Ware sucks", etc. It comes as no surprise to me that a generation of Madden consumers and Fantasy Football heads would come to such conclusions either. Because aparantly now adays watching a game means the same to some of these people as reading the ****ing Box score. Well to anyone who has doubts after the 1st pre season game, and thnks this season is a wash, tell us now, just dont say a damn word if we do well.

Not the ones that are looking to the future.

Bledsoe is worse than Testaverde according to Klesko. He knows this after one quarter of the first preseason game. An absolute friggin Genius this guy is.

In regard to voyages into the Bills message boards you have to remember one thing, they chose to release a QB who lead them to a 9-7 season, would have been 10-6 and a playoff berth if Leftwich doesn't complete a prayer in the back of the endzone as time expires. Instead they turn to an unproven 2nd year QB who has barely thrown an NFL pass. They are scared. Scared to death. Scared that they could end up with one of the worst records in the NFL this season. Scared that there top of the line defense will go to waste because they will field a QB who simply is not ready to compete at this level. Anytime Bledsoe isn't too great, it will help settle those fears some. They will feel a slight sense of relief. Their biggest nightmare would be that Bledsoe lead the Cowboys to the playoffs, a place they long to be. That the Cowboys fleeced them in the 2004 NFL draft and then again in 2005 free agency, basically trading J. P. Losman (that QB we talked about who is not ready for the NFL) for Drew Bledsoe and Marcus Spears. I understand that beause that's a huge win for Dallas.

So yes, they will hope against hope that Bledsoe does not play well. I just hope they are ready for a season they will eventually wish they could forget.

By the way, you don't have to go far to read people bashing Bledsoe after one quarter of the first preseason game. There are a number of them right here. That's what being a Dallas Cowboys fan has become. Instead of sticking up for our players and defending them if we can, we turn on them and bash them just as hard, if not harder than our opponents and rival fans. Makes you proud doesn't it. This place is full of pathetic excuses for Cowboys fans who will probably celebrate just as hard as the Bills fans, at any lack of success that they hope Bledsoe will have. They have already started. I, for one, will have Bledsoes back through thick and thin.

I agree man, the fact people are even mentioning Bledsoes name in the same sentence with bums like Carter, Testeverde and Ryan Leaf of all people as absurb and sickening. You'd think this franchise were the cardinals or bengals with all the pessimisn and negativity going on. Last time I checked this was a playoff team just 2 years ago...last time I checked Parcells record here is 16-17 including one playoff loss....last time I checked this team added a slew of new players via the draft and free agency...so were supposed to come out firiing on all cylinders in the first preseason game? Give me a break, we still almost beat the cardinals despite the horrendous offensive showing.

Maybe some of these fans should go jump on the buffalo bandwagon if they think that team is so great. I guarantee they don't finish with more wins than the cowboys, their QB blows, and JJ is better than mcgahee. Our offensive line will be a far cry from what we saw saturday night come opening day in san diego. I'm still as confident as ever and know Bledsoe will be just fine. He's a gritty veteran with a lot to prove. Sure he'll get sacked and look like a statue from time to time, but he's also going to be airing it and making spectacular plays when Parcells and Peyton open the playbook...something only a fool would do against the cardinals who they see in the regular season to begin with.

I like to browse other teams message boards for my own sick amusement, especially the Bills...there's hundreds of posts about mcgahee rushing for 2000 yards, the defense being better than the 86 bears D, losman better than tom brady even though he hasn't even played a down yet....add to the fact the 100's of pats and jets trolls there rubbing it in about how pathetic their team is and it makes for good entertainment. I thought Egirls fans were the biggest delusional homers in the NFL until i started visiting BB.com for insightful football knowledge.

hehe, thats almost as funny as Cowboys fans thinking Bledsoe is a good QB :p:

I have not seen anything from Losman that shows he is the next tom brady- more like he is the next Ryan Leaf.

JP was yelling at the media and crying to have them leave him alone? I guess i missed that. Why do y ou guys get so offended if fans of another team bash your new player? Some of you act as though Bledsoe is still a great QB. He's not. If youd watched him the last 3-4 years, youd realize that. Im not writing the season off by any means, because good D and a good running game will overcome anything Bledsoe will do (it did in Buffalo at the end of last season). Look at how much better the Bills did when Mcgahee stepped in full time. Jones can have that kind of an impact, and though i wouldnt put our D up there with Buffalo's just yet, it can still be good, and in a league with so much parity, anything can happen. I dont really look at any team in the NFC in particular, that's SO much better than anyone else. Philly is still the cream of the crop in my opinion, but even they are having their offseason issues that could ultimately lead to their demise. Bledsoe is terrible, and not because of one preseason game but because of how far he's fallen the last 3 years. Friggin Mike Vick had a better QB rating than Drew last year, and he isnt the most accurate passer in the world, but at least he can do something with his legs. Drew just looks lost all the time. And thats not from watching one friggin preseason game, so please stop assuming people that dont like Drew dont like him because of one game. Over the last few years, Buffalo has had one of the best defenses in the league, yet they havent been able to win more than 9 games. When youre ranked in the bottom 5 in offense 2 years running, it's pretty hard to make the playoffs. Sorry if that upsets some of you, but its the reality of the situation. Drew II would be a better option for this team this year. At least let him take his lumps now. He can be no worse than Drew I. Just my opinion.

McGahee and their defense led them to that 9-7 record, not Bledsoe.

As for the Bills, they haven't dumped any waste on us.. They probably choose not to remember the trade they made with us that landed them JP Losman, and us Julius Jones and Marcus Spears (may have been someone else too). It's gonna take a lot from losman for them to win that deal.

From my experience, I've seen that Bills fans are pretty ignorant about the game. They have a lot of passion, but not much knowledge. Not like Texans anyway. In Texas football is just as much a part of life as taking a shower and brushing your teeth.

Whatver, Bills fans can say whatever they want. I just kindly remind them of the early 90s against us. And if I really wanna be a *winky* I mention the other 2 games during that time span as well.
