Regardless of stats, I think the Chiefs may have a better offense than the Giants simply because Trent Green is a much better qurterback than Manning and Johnson is an easy match for Barber. I do not believe they will rack up big yardage numbers on us, but I have so little confidence in our offense right now, I am concerned about turnovers and short field opportunities for their offense.

Also, have we faced a Dante Hall like talent this year in the kicking game? One or two big returns could again result in short field opportunities to score for their offense. The bottom line here is I think the Chiefs are likely to score on us and our offense will need to score some points. At this point, they have not demonstrated any ability to do that for many weeks, and I am not sanguine about our chances this week.

I was in KC back in 97 after we had just gone 6-10 and the cabbie who was driving me around was laughing at how bad the Cowboys were and said we'd never be anything again. I said we've 3 superbowls in 4 years lately and 5 overall, how many have the Chiefs won overall and how many have you won lately. It didn't faze him one bit, he still thought the Chiefs were the best thing going. When I turned on my tv in the hotel room, it was all Chiefs all the time as if they were some kind of storied franschise or something. I was just amazed at their rabid enthusiasm at the time, so now that they're better, nothing surprises me.

So do I ..... so I guess that makes 3 of us.

Chef fans are very confident of their team. All week I had to listen to it. Heaven forbid should we lose tomorrow, next week won't be worth living. We simply MUST win.

I look for Drew and our offense to come out with a new energy and higher level of play. I have been tough on Drew this week but I think this game we will put our boots (spurs included) up the Chiefs Arses.

This is our most important game until next weekend and like it was just said earlier "we must win this game".

I'm pretty surprised about how over confident these Chief fans are. Cant I blame them...but really they are smokin ... I'm getting my fade done right by my barber Tommy and he is hell bent on downgrading the Cowboys and saying Bledsoe isnt even liked by his team because they wont block for him...He says...They run away from him instead of block. His prediction is that Trent Green is going to have a banner day against our secondary and Larry Johnson is going to have about 180 yards. I'm listening and thinking inside to myself that I want them to be thinking this way so they come into Big D and get shell-shocked. I have my brother coming into town from Wichita Falls, TX to have a extra troop boys fan at the party at my friends house. I live in Wichita, Kansas and they are all Chiefs fans...I have a 100 dollar bet on the game that Dallas wins. I'm keeping the faith and like I said in a post the other day...I read a book that said to move all your belongings to the east or facing the east and your carma will change and your inner power will emerge...has anyone heard of this...and who thinks KC is over confident and who thinks Dallas will get back on track...I see too much of everyone looking at next year and who we can get...and is Parcells coming back and his record without that Patriots coach...Can we please just focus on now...as a fan base we want to do that right...move stuff to the east and have everyone focusing on Sunday...We have the ability in the NFC...everyone should know that....Peace

The Chiefs are definitely playing their best football of the year thus far.

Earlier in the season, they had injuries all over the map-especially with their OL.

Frankly, we need this win, and I think we'll duke it out. However-we're NOT playing Arizona here, that's for sure! :bang2:

Don't forget who put the Eagles asunder. The NFC champions from last year.

Yep-regardless of how our season turns out(whether it's 7-9 or 11-5), we all but sent a message to the rest of the NFC when we POUNDED the Eagles in wk 5-that this powerhouse CAN be beaten and smacked around.

It was like the Rams a couple of years back-everyone was intimidated by them. But when the Pats came out in the Super Bowl and smacked them around physically, no longer was everyone intimidated by them.
