First, the what-you-already-know-but-I'm-gonna-point-out-anyway....
1. Our defense didn't tackle for crap. I don't think they Chiefs really did THAT much to us schematically, but we just missed too many tackles.
2. Petitti and Tucker both played well (which they should have since they weren't facing anyone special). I believe Bledsoe was sacked 3 times, but only 1 was on the OL. DB held the ball too long on the other two.
3. Ware had a very good game. A bit inconsistent, but his aggressiveness was much better. He was rarely double teamed and he took advantage of it vs a probowl caliber LT.
4. Tony Richardson was often chipping Ellis, and he knocked the piss out of Ellis several times.
5. Did I mention our D couldn't of tackled Hellen Keller yesterday?
6. Lots of Chiefs fans at the game. Probably about 35% of the crowd were Chiefs fans.
7. I'm not saying he's a better RB then JuJo (not saying he's not either), but Barber had a much better game then JuJo. JuJo had opportunities but didn't do much with them. Don't know *** is wrong with him. Newman had a bit of a sophomore jinx last year, hopefully that's all JuJo is going through.
8. Derrick Johnson sucks. I agree with Bryan Cox, DJ is a devout coward. All I saw him do all day was run around blocks.
9. For the most part, Trent Green wasn't touched. A few plays we got pressure on him (mostly Ware), but most of the time he was sitting back there baking cookies before he bothered to throw the ball. Then again, the same can be said for Drew. He has protection and his stats showed what he can do if you keep his uniform clean.
10. The "X-Factor" wasn't much of a factor today, for the most part.
Things you don't know...
1. One of my friends caught a T-shirt thrown into the stands. I get the assist cuz I pushed down the hands of the only guy that had a chance to take it from him.
2. There were some rowdy fans (no, I don't means fans of rowdy the mascot) in my section (Section 17. I was on the 10th row). We were making some noise too.
3. The crowd fell asleep for a short period in the first half, but other then that did a pretty good job throughout the game, including on the missed FG at the end.
4. One of my friends (there were 4 of us) kept farting and they smelled NASTY! People 4 rows behind us were smelling it. There was this hot chick (cool arse chick too) behind us that everyone jokingly blamed for the smelliness. We nicknamed her "Stinky". She didn't mind at all. Like I said, she was a cool chick.
5. There was a New Jersey cowboys fan there, crazy ******* too. He basically is what got and kept our section crazy the whole game.
6. Some old couple were sitting in front of me. I must have hit that lady in the back of the head at least a dozen times. She didn't get uspet about it though.
7. After we scored the last TD, I started taking pics of Chiefs' fans, in an effort to humiliate them. After that pass to Hall that SHOULD have lead to the game tying FG, this one chiefs fan (with a big 'ole beard) said "take a picture of that!".
8. So after the missed FG, I took another couple of pics of him in agony. Priceless.
9. Did I mention Stinky was cool AND hot? Lucky dude she was with. He was pretty cool too.
10. I didn't even know it was my friend doing the farting till after the game.
11. Derrick Johnson is a b**ch. And No, I don't hate the horns. Just calling it like I see it.
12. Larry Johnson is a good RB, but BOY did he have some huge holes to run through.
13. Freakin' Rowdy acted like he was gonna toss a FB up in the stands (was facing us), but never actually did it. I hate that useless sorry excuse for a mascot.
