Mmmmmmm. I do believe Hardline asked for recipes, not just photos. Now, you owe us two recipes. And another photo, got to even this thing out.

    For an easy recipe......

Put in some cube steaks(season them up and can sear first if you wish), a bottle or two of brown gravy, packet of dry onion mix and let it work. Serve over egg noodles or rice

First thing I did in mine was Drunk Ribs. Use the bone in country style ribs.

Salt, pepper and granulated garlic rub and let them sit on a rack in the fridge for anywhere between 4 and 24 hours.

Take them out and let them come to room temp and brown them in a pan with a little oil but just until you take the pink off.

    One onion sliced thinly
6 Garlic cloves sliced thinly on the vertical

Toss that in the pan after moving to ribs to the slow cooker and just sweat them. Toss with ribs.

    Add
    12 ozs Beef Broth
12 ozs of amber or dark beer
1 Bottle of Heinz Chili Sauce
    1 Tbl Lea & Perrin
    1 Tbl Crystal Hot Sauce

Set that to high and once it starts going, drop it down and let it go. Once that's done, remove the ribs and turn back to high and leave the lid off the sauce and let it bubble down to a gravy like consistency. If you are going to use that with some mashed taters or what I like is grilled cabbage, put that through a blender or food processor to get it to the right consistency. That gravy drives people wild.

I am going to do a trimmed brisket in the slow cooker with that sauce when fall gets here.

    Mississippi Pot Roast
    3-4 pound chuck roast
    1 yellow onion sliced
    1/2 stick butter
1 16 oz jar Mezetta pepperoncini peppers
1 envelope dry Ranch dressing mix
1 envelope Au Jus gravy mix
    Salt & pepper
    2 beef bullion cubes
    1 cup H2O

Boil the 2 bullion cubes in the cup of water and reserve. Slice onion and place on the bottom of the slow cooker. Take roast and rub all sides with Ranch mix and salt & pepper. Place roast on top of onions. Pour entire jar of peppers and juice over the roast. Form a little pocket in the peppers above the roast and place the 1/2 stick of butter in. Sprinkle Au Jus mix over everything and then pour the bullion broth over everything. Slow cook it for 8-10 hours.

You can make this without the Au Jus or bullion and it's good, but I want all the extra broth for sandwiches. When it's done I pull the roast out, shred it, and throw it back in. Lastly get some crusty sub rolls or bolillos and Swiss or provolone cheese slices. Toast the split rolls a little to give them some crunch. Add a slice of cheese and top with the roast, pepper, and onion mixture. You can then make a little saucer from the broth to dip your sandwich in.

They're killer sandwiches, but you can also skip the bread and serve it over mashed potatoes or white rice.

    Pulled Pork.

Just put a pork roast (shoulder or butt) into a slow cooker with about an inch of water and an onion (halved is find). Let it slow cook for about 4 hours or until is falls apart with a fork. take it out, throw the onion away. Shred the pork roast and put it back in the slow cooker. Empty a bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce into the cooker and mix it up with the port. Let if simmer for another 15-20 minutes. fork some onto a hard roll and top it with cole slaw. I usually make my own.

A small pork roast will make 5 or 6 sandwiches. It's not the professional pulled pork cooked on a smoker for 16 hours, but you will like this in a pinch.

I combine the two methods since after a couple of hours of smoke, that's all the meat is going to take, I transfer it to a slow cooker and let it finish the job.

I do this with a good sized chuck roast and prefer that to brisket and it makes great tacos.

I do the pulled pork and when I take it out to shred it, add fresh pineapple to that and make a salsa of grilled pineapple, red onion, jalapenos and cilantro and that makes some outrageous Tacos Al Pastor.
