However something is odd as last week this person was seen in at O'hare Airport...

I am just saying that they have never had any time spent working together.

I just cant piece it together as a solid plan.

Well there are times when a HC hires assistants (DCs and OCs) that they have not worked with before.

It really is not an uncommon situation.

One other thing to consider. With Ron Turner being the common factor I am sure that Ron has spoke with Rivera about Norv before and probably vice versa.

Heard on the Houston local sport radio show from a good source that it will be indeed Norv Turner as HC, J. Garrett as QB/OC coach and Ron Rivera as DC/Asst. HC for the new Cowboy coaching staff and it will be announced tomarrow or Wednesday the latest.

So it's pretty much a 'done deal'? Great!
Rivera is getting off to a good start.
I mean, to have already an understanding that he is coming to the Cowboys without EVEN DISCUSSING SALARY OR CONTROL OR STRATEGY is amazing. That shows he's in it only for the love of football and not any selfish interests such as pay.

If thats true, I like the Garrett and Rivera connection, but the Turner HC thing bothers me. I hope he has changed and is going to be a better head coach. Time will tell.

He will have a better owner and organization, so he will be a better coach.
