But do Norv and Rivera have any history at all ?
BrAinPaiNt;1359416 said:I think Jerry and Rivera have been talking.
Just not directly so nobody gets in trouble.
However something is odd as last week this person was seen in at O'hare Airport...
So...I think Rowdy was the go between man.
BrAinPaiNt;1359419 said:Ron Turner (OC for the Bears) is Norv's brother.
Also when Rivera was interviewing for a HC last year he made mention of wanting Norv to come in as his OC if he got the job.
SkinsandTerps;1359434 said:I know about Ron.
I know about last year.
I am just saying that they have never had any time spent working together.
I just cant piece it together as a solid plan.
Bill Cowher will be available next year. As well as Jeff Fisher.
BrAinPaiNt;1359445 said:Well there are times when a HC hires assistants (DCs and OCs) that they have not worked with before.
It really is not an uncommon situation.
One other thing to consider. With Ron Turner being the common factor I am sure that Ron has spoke with Rivera about Norv before and probably vice versa.

"stagger stagger, crawl crawl crawl..."
and
"you'll have to kill me before i die!"
such an underrated movie!
