On offense, the mindset of Garrett and Linehan is doing to Dak what I watched happen to Romo over the years. Dumbing down and limiting of explosive options (especially in the second halves of games). I could only imagine what Dak would be doing with McVay in his corner. Wow.

The coaching staff woefully underperformed again today. I'm still not 100% sure what Garrett does. But I digress...

Bad day but still looking forwarded to seeing this team really get on track as we get guys back from suspension and injury... Speaking of suspension.. Jerry has created an environment in Dallas that coddles players. Some of these clowns would have already been looking for work elsewhere if it were me.

This is a recurring theme for many, many years. Which is totally on Jerry since coaches are the one place we don't have a cap, so we should be able to entice anyone, but Jerry makes that impossible.

I get he's trying to make his mark, but bissachia has to get this kid under control. That taking it out of the end zone is killing field position as well.
It really is. I mean Jesus... If you know you probably aren't going to get to the 25, sit it down and live to fight another sequence.

Switzer is playing hero ball. May of worked in college, but you need to be smarter in the NFL.
All for having that "dynamic" returner, but he needs to understand when to fold.

Not sure I agree with the offense being dumbed down. I noticed that in the pocket, Dak struggles to throw accurately EVEN when he has time. I've seen a bunch of inaccurate throws by him, especially on out routes. Throws are as much as 5-10 yards out of bounds. Receivers don't even try cause they don't have a chance of catching it. He also struggles in when there isn't much of a window, but these are the throws that separate good QBs from the Elite ones.

He's much better when he's rolling outside on a bootleg or if he has to make something for himself.
Fair enough but I need an all 22 or something to change my opinion on that. It just seems as though the killer instinct isn't there in the play calling on either side of the ball.

Speaking of McVay, someone has got to give him credit for the incredible turnaround of taking a losing laughing stock Rams team to a legit problem In just one offseason. His offense is dynamic and the players absolutely LOVE playing in it. That post route to Gurley was genius.

Marinelli is doing the best he can with what he has. I think we have somewhere in the neighborhood of 7 guys out to injury or suspension and 5 rookies playing on defense (Jaylon is technically a rook). Not making excuses because every team in the NFL is dealing with something, but it has to be noted that Marinelli is being called upon to perform magic. I STILL think our defense will be a playoff caliber defense but expecting them to regularly dictate the course of the game is taking it a bit too far. If our offense is actually being dynamic and putting up points, our defense will regularly hold up their end of the bargain. (and those rooks will get better as the season progresses).

I believe there were 19 unanswered by the Rams in the second half. We can go back & forth and argue whether that was offensive or defensive deficiency until the end of time but the bottom line is that our offense doesn't have 5 rooks playing. Our offense can't simply take a quarter off. As loaded as they are supposed to be, 3 and outs should be a rarity with our offense. Yet we had several today against the Rams.

Garrett has never been on the hot seat because he's an awesome puppet. I called 12-4 this season and adjusted that to 11-5 after the Denver game. I adjusted it again to 9-7 after today. We shall see if my that holds true but this type of leadership won't see many deep playoff runs.

The coaching staff woefully underperformed again today. I'm still not 100% sure what Garrett does. But I digress...

I think they go 6-10 this year. Another consistently inconsistent product by team JJ and his comfortable, untouchable staff of minions. Any decent D Coordinator can game plan this show. Could reasonably make a case for 4-12.

Cmon man. I'm down too but 6-10. I will finally change my profile pic if that were to happen.

The out of bounds throws are baffling. Is he throwing it away or what? I've seen Dak make those throws.
