Sounds like you were excited to meet those guys, but hopefully Charles wasn't "excited."

:laugh2:

Meeting Haley for the first time was incredible. The dude is as crazy off the field as well. He used to live in the Highland park area and i used to work at a small family restaurant close by. He used to bring his kids with thier babysitter there and let them play video games. He would order a very large strawberry milk shake, i would make it, give it to him, and turn my back to do something else. By the time i turn back around, less than a minute, that milk shake is gone. He used to tease us by saying that he will retire as a 49er and get us all riled up.

The best part is that he used to come back after we close the restaurant for the night and drink with us until 2-4am in the morning......BTW, let me just say Haley liked to smoke and i'm not refering to cigarettes.

As for Wade Wilson, i didn't recognize who he was while i was waiting on his table, he was there with his family. It was a friday night, and we are usually packed, and it used to get very hectic and crazy, which i loved. Anyway, he gave me a great compliment by saying something like, "it's amazing that i was able stay calm and was able to attend to all my tables" or something like that. I responded by stating, get this, "how much i enjoyed working under pressure, although most people don't". He gave me his credit card and when i went to run it, a few of the waiters came up to me and asked me what he said to me. i told them our conversation, wondering why they were curious about one of my customers. When they told me who he was and i felt like a dumb *** for bragging about working under pressure to an NFL QB.....ooops.:

Did you ask him why he tried to return that kick off in SBXIII with a broken hand? :D

It was amazing how such a close fought game and ultimately a season turned on a series of a few strange plays starting with Jackie Smith's inexplicable drop in the end zone. Randy's fumbled return was one of those strange, game turning plays.

the man is still HUGE!so no.....nothin about the bad plays.

Lucky friggin' dog. The Manster was my idol and one of the main reasons I became a Cowboys fan. Always double teamed and sometimes TRIPLE teamed. Unreal motor: all time great. Congrats, I have to go now because I'm boiling over with petty jealousy...................

Hey everyone,
I just had the opportunity to have lunch with former Dallas Cowboy Randy White today at Andrews Dist.,here in Corpus Christi.I was lucky enough to sit at the same table, and have a great conversation about this years team.Believe me when I tell you,He's not happy that the Cowboys havent been in the playoffs or Superbowl. We talked about the young players, and their mistakes, and he "quizzed" me on my knowledge of being a "Cowboys Fan".I'm happy to say,I held my own,and then the conversation turned to the injury that Spencer has.I thought it meant something, that Randy would mention him by name.He also said he would have loved to have Witten and Ware as his teammates when he played.
I noticed his hands, and especially his knuckles, and looked at how playing football took its toll on them.It looks like little caps underneath the skin, and I imagine its painful.
