Out of all the Cowboys that I have had the pleasure of carrying on extensive conversations with, Walt Garrison was by far the coolest of them all. He was a family friend of ours growing up... so I actually got to talk to him quite a bit. Real nice guy.

Second favorite one was Drew Pearson... didn't know him personally, but I got to talk to him for nearly an hour when I was 12. He was about as down to earth as can be.

Never met a Cowboy I didn't like, because that honor goes to Mike Modano of the Dallas Stars. When I met him, I thought he was a cocky jerk who acted like he was Prince Charles.

I imagine Tony Romo would be pretty down to earth and just an all around cool guy.

Post of the day. I dare any of you to top this. Give it up, you can't.

For the most rabid Cowboys fan, it can't be topped. But what if I told you I was also making memories I'll never forget - she said her boyfirend would rather play golf or football than indoor sports! So we played, and I scored... :) Top that, I dare you!

Awesome pics, congrats dude. Nice family! I know it's hard in Wisconsin being a Cowboys fan with all those molded cheesehead Packer fans.

:laugh2:

Sweet! I know some people in Wisconsin who know some of this relatives and they say he's real down to Earth when you meet him.

By the way, I love that shirt he's wearing, lol.

awesome dude congrats.

Romo comes off as a pretty cool guy. I think having been a nobody for 3 years teaches some humility.

He is cool.

He told the crowd that the kids get first dibs on his services, and he put his hands on their shoulders and gave them a hug. He stayed and signed autographs and took pics until everyone was done. He didn't diss anyone, not even Packer fans.

A really nice guy.

What is really amazing and funny at the same time is, Romo just does not look like a probowl QB at all. He looks just like any other man walking the streets. :laugh2:

But, underneith that casual look is a bad boy!

Word is he visited a Packer bar, the Watering Hole, Thursday evening and had a few drinks with the Pack fans.

I'm told that almost all who visited the bar that night came away really impressed on how down to earth he is, and he gained more fans after his visit, Packer fans no less.

I also think that Romo has a trait that most other QB's don't have is that he COULD BE a mulitple sport athlete! There is no doubt in my mind that if Romo wanted to not play football and wanted to become a professional golf player that he would do just that!

I think that is part if his charisma.

How many other current NFL QB's are out actually competing, and basically doing a damn good job of it, in another sport? I don't know! Peyton Manning does commercials...but what about other QB's? I hear NOTHING about any of them doing anything (well, Brady is pregnating any girl he can, but that don't count)!!

As of Friday, Romo was 4 shots off the lead.

I don't know his score today, but I can tell he made a heck of a putt on 18.....he pumped his fists in the air like Tiger.

I didn't ask him about his golf game today, but I did tell him I had a feeling that this is the Cowboys year and he said he had the same feeling.

That's funny...because I HAVE THE SAME FEELING...!!!

But how crazy would it be if this is not the year and the year that Romo wins the SuperBowl would be in the new staidum? Now, that would be crazy!!

:laugh2:

I love me some Dallas Cowboys!!

Tony is in Janesville, WI. for the Fischer Golf Tournament.

Any Wisconsin fans, stop by and he will sign anything you have plus offer photo ops.

Jessica is here as well, but she remained off the golf course today.

Tony signed my jersey, hat, my son's hat, my daughters shirt and took pictures with us. I shook the hand that makes those throws. :D

I'm so pumped right now.

I'll post some pics asap.

Congrats to you! I am a little jealous right now--Go Cowboys!
