Just realized that our loss on Thanksgiving really was a bad one because..

I guess you missed how Washington played so well against the Eagles in Philly earlier in the season - with a guy who is now third string

Yep, that was earlier in the season when they still had a shot, I'm pretty sure that they will lay down for the eagles, and play the Cowboys like it's a playoff game.

I think Washington can be a hard game for both the Eagirls and us. I can see both teams losing to them in Washington. Deadskins went toe to toe with them in Philly and lost only by 3 points and of course they beat us in Dallas.

:rolleyes:I'm really glad you can predict the future. Anything else? Who will be in the Super Bowl? NFC/AFC Championship game? Who will be the next president? What will win Best Picture at the Academy Awards?

It's called making predictions, calm down.

How is playing the Eagles, the Cardinals and the 49ers an easy schedule?

Color me confused.

That makes two of us. I think the combined record of their remaining opponents is 30-18. The weakest team they have left is the Rams. Put me down as thinking the Rams are going to be a tough out down the stretch...they will be looking to spoil somebody's party, and may very well do it.

You're grossly disparaging the parity that is the NFL.

All the teams you mentioned have lots of division games, which are never easy, regardless of the team's respective records.

Jacksonville ripped the Giants, while we barely beat them, but handled Jacksonville quite easily.

The Eagles, Lions, and Seahawks all have remaining schedules that will allow them to win 3 out of 4 which means we have to probably win out to make the playoffs which is a huge task. Even if we go 3-1 that would still not be enough due to the eagles undefeated division record and the tie breaker we would lose with the Lions and seahawks. So I say all this to say it's not looking good at this point

The Lions have a easy schedule.........bears, bucs, vikings, and packers.......11-5

The Seahawks have a easy schedule..........eagles, niners at home, at arizona, rams at home.....11-5

The Eagles have a easy schedule............seahawks, cowboys, giants, skins..............11-5 at the worst

See how we have to finish 12-4 in order to get in? We need the Eagles to lose 3 games and need seattle and detroit to lose 2 games. So we have to win out. smh

I see the Lions going 3-1, but the others are questionable. Seahawks could easily lose any of those four games, and if they end up tied with us recordwise, we get in because of head-to-head.

The Eagles could easily lose to Seattle and us, and you never know about division games, so the Giants or Commanders could surprise.

Dallas needs to just take care of business. If the Cowboys go 11-5, I'll be surprised if they miss the playoffs and there's even a chance that 10-6 will still be good enough.

I could be wasting a lot of mental energy on this because if we lose to the bears it's a done deal anyway

Two games at home against the niners and rams
Arizona has no QB

So I don't see more than 1 loss which would probably be to the eagles

Rams are not winning in seattle and they just beat the niners in sanfrancisco.

So that's why I see them at the worst 11-5, 10-6 would be good for us but it's a slim chance

I see them at 9-7. KC,STL,SEA and SF all have defenses that can generate pressure to alter the course of a game vs a QB like Stanton.

The Giants are a bad team, Jacksonville beating them wasn't a shock at all.

I was home this afternoon and looked at all the schedules of the teams the Cowboys are competing against for a playoff spot, and it didn't take long for me to come to a simple conclusion.

If Dallas wins their games, they'll be fine. If they have to rely on other teams screwing up to get in, they won't last long in the postseason anyway; so I really wasted my time.
