Just So Nobody Forgets

You understand that they are in the ratings business right? Bashing the Cowboys is a rating machine

They're also in the business to try and look knowledgeable and that ranking was obviously awhile ago.

I didn't know a team accomplishment reflected how talented a particular individual is, I must've missed that memo they sent out.

It means something to the people who get their takes from BSPN.

What year was this?

There was lots of fear last year preseason regarding Romo's back.
There's no scenario where he'd be last though. Maybe that was fantasy and Hassleback thought Rom wouldn't make it through the season.

this is the guy who road his wife's coattails into the tv business?

we should make a list of hasslebacks. I wonder where Tim would finish.

More like riding his brothers coattails Matt was a pretty good QB at one time leading the Seahawks to the SB and both Hasselbeck bothers have a gift for gab. Once Matt ends his NFL career he'll have a gig talking football.

Not only did you miss the memo you half dismissed what a talent individual can do for his team.
Hey, it is called colloquialism. You know, like when you say "We won" when the 'Boys win. You really did not win. The team and the talented individuals did. Another colloquialism:
"Boy howdy, you are really thin-skinned, Elmer."
Now, git off your high indignant horse and go do somethin useful for mankind and quit bothering me, boy.
And I say that with all doo respekt.

Matt Hasselbeck is still playing and did start in a Super Bowl... that is his brother Tim who somehow managed to score a hot wife... but she talks too much.

I stand corrected. And for the record- I don't like Matt or his little brother Timmy

Lets see. Rex Grossman started a Super Bowl, right?
So how does just starting one make hasseljerk worth anything?

Here's a word, grammar.

that still doesnt excuse the utter idiocy of that graphic, that too coming from a former QB.it just makes it look like ESPN only hires idiots and its one of the reason i rarely watch them.

Don't judge anything without context. Who knows when this was or what the rankings were for. Let's go back last offseason and pull up some of the posts from this board. I bet half of cowboyszone posters would have agreed with these rankings. Very few people believed that romo would make it through a season with his back problems.

I take it, then, that you think there might exist a context where that graphic is not completely absurd?

Maybe it was a list of NFCE QBs most likely to suck that season.
