Just speculating... Is Garrett on Boy Snyder's radar for coach next year?

And dont forget, a head coach and OC are way different. I think Garrett will be a better HC than coordinator.

We can have Ray Sherman help out with playcalling if need be.

I agree about the HC and OC

maybe bringing back Norv as OC

and would love Jerry to get Mike Nolan as DC/Assisant HC but don't think there any way this happens

there is Jim Harbaugh as DC he runs a 3-4 at Stadford

or Reggie Herring as DC

Yeah, because ironically he'll probably bring Gary Kubiak over with him as an offensive coordinator.

i believe Kubiak already has a job.....

I already said this..though my theory is that Garrett is trying to sabotage the Cowboys and get fired so he can take the HC job at Washington haha

I honestly would not cry, at all, if Washington took them as their HC. It wouldn't bother me in the least.

Well guys, I wanted Mike Nolan a few years ago. I still would like Mike Nolan. If we got Nolan, it would have to be as HC. I would take Nolan, I think he's a dang good candidate.

I still like that guy too. Not sure what happened in SF, but I think he's pretty good prospect still.

Not next season.

No way that happens.

Snyder went the nice, quiet, young offensive coordinator route last time.

This time, he'll open the vault for Shanahan or Gruden ... someone like that, IMO.

Yep. It's time for another BIG NAME in DC.

exactly!

he has tried a couple times to capture offensive genius in a bottle and failed.
i'd bet money Cowher gets concessions and lots of cash to come play ugly football.

snyder could always go more offense but i don't think there's any chance he goes unproven NFL head coach again.

Say Zorn gets fired at the end of this year (likely probability). What are the chances of Snyderbrenner going after Garrett?

If that ever happened get ready for posts filled with these smilies:

:toast: :dance2: clap: :mchammer: :dance3: :beatit:

I guess I'm just stupid.

Given that there would be dancing in the streets if Garrett were gone to be replaced by Turner, I have just one question: when was the last time Turnr coordinated a team that is #2 in yards per game?

Dallas is behind only New Orleans in this regard. Not bad for being incompetant. Makes me wonder what all the other OC's in the league are. When was the last time Turner had an offense ranked this high?

Given Turner's continual failures since he left Dallas, I wonder how he keeps a job.

No doubt Garrett tends to outguess himself at times. That is frustrating. He is still learning to understand the feel for the game, the rhythm, if you wish. But when I look around the league, there aren't that many I would turn the keys to the offense to. Sean Payton certainly.

Stats aren't everything, but they are an indicator of something. And Garretts stats, despite his sometimes maddening impulses, are better than the vast majority of guys out there.

I'd much rather keep Garrett than bring in a guy who hasn't done a thing in one-and-a-half decades.

Fire away.

Yards per game mean nothing. Points per game is all that matters, and Garrett hasn't been impressive so far this season. His offense also has turned the ball over too much. Will that trend continue? Who knows, but so far Garrett has not done a great job by any stretch of the imagination.

Man...if Snyder picks Gruden it is win win. Not only do the Commanders get a garbage coach, but I also never have to hear his incessant talking on MNF again.

Now if only Jaworski could get hit by a bus or something...

Why would Sneyder hire a coach that Zorn easily outcoached?
In light of that, i do hope that Garrett is on Sneyder's radar.
