The most consecutive runs zeke has had in any game is only 2 back to back carries this season.

He’s averaging 5.7 YPC and leading the league in rushing while Dallas is 25th in rush attempts.

Without the best center in the league.
Without a top 70 WR/TE.
With the 28th ranked passer.



And we run it 16 times per game.

Apparently, there is only one down out of three where you can actually run the ball. First down.

If you don't run there and pass and it goes incomplete, you can't possibly run on 2nd and 10.

If you do run, and don't pick up more than 5 yerads, there's no way you can possibly run it on 2nd down.

And forget about 3rd down, that's a passing down no matter what.

So honestly, you're pretty restricted on when you can actually run the ball around here. The conditions need to be jjjjjuuuuuuussssssttttttt right.

And so on. Or if we are passing early its dropped or inaccurate by Dak and again we continue to get behind the chains.

Dont get me wrong I want to run more as well but with NO support from the passing game that becomes increasingly difficult.

I mean if we could get a little positive yardage on early down I think we'd run the ball more but we keep digging ourselves into holes.

At least thats what I am seeing, maybe Im wrong but to me the offense has been so damn dysfunctional I can actually understand why we haven't run more and look at it more as a symptom of an anemic offense than a cause.

Lack of preseason has killed this team. I knew in the first game it would hurt. The giants game looked a lot better but the regression in the seahags game I have no explanation for. Guessing a bad game of playcalling and execution of the playcalls. Team looked unprepared and lazy. No focus.

I am hoping getting back to the basics of smash mouth will get this O-Line and Offense fires up. If we stick with it we can run on anyone.
